I'm f*ckin' upset because one of my best friends from the forums hasn't talked to me in a year nor have they been active here for about as long. It's weird because I thought she was a catfish or some stuff and I told her about it and she got all pissy because we never did voice calls but once and other discrepancies and then she stopped talking to me, which sucks because we were the best of friends I thought and I even made plans to go up to Michigan to hang with her and stuff, at the time the biggest thing I would've done with someone I met online.

So either I ruined a friendship by expressing my fear that it might've been a catfish or I've been talking to a guy pretending to be a girl for four+ years and it's got me in a big fukkin mood

That's a drag.  Silver lining, though?  It could've really been a drag.

Life's funny. For the past two, nearly three years I've been dealing with a**hole neighbours. The running joke was that I lived in a triangle of sh**. Loud music, smashed windows, nearly accidentally burning down a house etc. Legit crazy stuff. Luckily two out of three people have gone but the problems continue. 

 

Now, the latest problem literally deals with sh**. The dog variety. They haven't been cleaning up after their dog, and if they do, they leave the bags outside on a wall for days. Mostly they don't care at all. It's a health risk because there's a cafe and loading bay near my home.

 

It's like... I know when trouble starts. It's been quiet lately and I haven't trusted it. Experience taught me that something will happen. And it does. So...I woke up this morning and they're still ignoring the official warnings. (Because it's a crime.)

 

So yeah... I'm done with the drama but stupid stuff like this is still happening.

One of those days where I remember how lonely I am, and crave social interaction. So not great.

 

I have to use Forums like these and Podcasts/Twitch streams to make me feel less lonely. It sucks and I hope that changes soon.

Waiting for my trolley to commute home;  just quietly sitting on a bench with headphones on listening to some T-Rex and playing solitaire on my phone.

 

I get that unsettling feeling of someone watching me and I look up to see this creepy f*cker looking at me from behind his hiding spot.

I'm pretty sure he was waiting to kill someone.  Pretty sure he wanted to kill me.

Going to a concert to see a band again and still, I'm confused because this time he salutes me, gives me two guitar picks (I shared one) and he poses to take him a picture, such an amazing experience I never forget.

Pretty good so far. Watching Luther at the minute, one of the best British shows IMO. Idris Elba is amazing.

I'll give an unnecessarily long winded response:

 

I got on my trolley and hoped to hell he didn't trail behind me.  He didn't and I got home safe.

 

Now here's the thing.  That station is located directly under the building I work in.  I kid you not - I leave my office, get in an elevator, take one small stair case to the subway concourse, and BAM!!! I'm at that trolley stop.  It might take me 3 minutes to get from my desk to the trolley.

 

But...That's only when I don't go home with my wife.  When we leave together we take the trolley from a stop 2 blocks from my office.  A slightly nicer station with less scary people.

 

Yesterday I worked late and went home alone. 

 

Today I'm working late and will be taking the trolley from the scary stop again.

Most shops are closed, I never get a Sunday dinner anymore because I live on my own, and Work is tomorrow and it's Monday.

I delivered a pizza to a regular who never tips and while they were signing their credit card receipt, their dog took a sh*t in the middle of the floor and I ain't even mad so altogether it was p good

I got a good night's sleep for the first time in, like, forever. But I ended up showing up half an hour late for college, lol.

It's valentine's day ya know.  I work in what is essentially a big courthouse.

.  The crazy amount of weddings today is always surreal.  I totally forgot and was coming back from lunch and was like "ahhh cute wedding".  And then again...and again...and again.  It wasn't until I had to swim through a sea of white lace to get to the elevators that I remembered it was valentine's day.

Coffee is literally the only thing keeping me alive. Working in a metal shop that's gets up to 30° C that makes me dangerously sleepy. Yet i'm still awake and aware enough that nothing bad has happened to me yet...

I just spend those days watching videos and reading a lot of options to make a hybrid drumkit with my electric drumkit and an acoustic drumkit, I can't wait to make this project in some weeks.

Currently sh*t. My dog decided to pull towards another dog while I was crouched trying to clean up her sh*t on the park. Lost a bit of skin because she yanked me over onto the path and landed on my left hand. Still had hold of her sh*t in my other hand but luckily the bag didn't split.

Long story short:

 

I finally got around to fixing the circuit(s) for a 3 way circuit in my house.  You - 1 light fixture that can be toggled by 2 different switches(switches are on different floors here for this task).

 

Here is the thing.  You know how basic electrical wiring is color coded; black, white, red, and green?  Not the case in my house.  My house predates electricity so all of my wires are those old cloth covered copper...and every wire is black.

 

The fun part is I know enough basics that I do things "hot" because I'm too lazy to run up and down to the circuit breaker box.

 

 

Good news.  I can now control my 2nd floor hall light from multiple switches...and I didn't vet electrocuted.
