Xmas eve so I left work good and early.  

 

While walking the dogs down a quiet street the warrent unit showed up in 2 cars and 1 van.  Probably more than 10 officers.  They quietly surrounded the house... we quietly kept walking.  The door banging happened as we made it to the corner.  We wanted to stay and watch but didn't in case sh*t popped off...only because the dogs would have gotten barky.

A few hours ago I sold some pants for a dude, but there was another guy who gave him an appointment at the same place and at the same time with my number, he showed me his messages and this situation made me the day.

My washing machine broke with my clothes in it. Kept cutting off the power to my flat. Had to rag the door open so I could wash them at the launderette. What makes it worse is that I just finished paying for it last month so I couldn't get it repaired. f*ck Brighthouse.

Just got back from Christmas breakfast/lunch at my mother's.  Always fun.  Our 3 pug dogs go and get to spend a few hours in the country with their brother pug dog. 

 

And for the record...I have the best mother on the planet.

My day was average until I heard a lady screaming because her dog was attacked by another dog. I was walking my dog at the time so I knew exactly how she felt. Made me feel like crap. And just now a house is on fire round my area that started about 2 a.m. The fire brigade came just as a tree caught fire. Flame was massive for about five seconds until they sprayed it. This area's gone to sh*t.

Sometimes I forget how good life can be and then the small things like getting the ferry home of an evening show me how good it can be.

Safe to say, my day was good, although a little stressful.

It just got awkward.

 

I did my 8 hours at the office and now I'm sitting here doing emails from home.

 

One of the email conversations has to do with getting rid of company A and replacing them with company B and what is it going to take for users of company A to prepare for the move to company B.

 

The conversation was handed to me by the users of company A.  Obviously they(my users of comp A) were confused.

 

I was explaining the exciting new world of company B and how easy the move should be in the email conversation.  I thought it was a conversation with people representing the users of company A.

 

Turns out the email was with company A.

 

They are now sad.

Pretty good for the most part. Been getting myself outside more when I don't have to be. It used to be that I'd just go to Work and come straight home, and only went out for groceries or if I was basically forced outside. Just taking a nice stroll through the park, or to clear your head has been really underrated by me. It's incredible what a difference it can make to your mood.
