crates are bull!

Ihave been in about 10-12 sessions crate inbound in all. Half hiur later no crate. I didnt even go to the green circle. I just played and did some jobs. No crate.

Been rolling in an Invite Only as usual. Not a single green circle or crate inbound message.

 

No big deal. A few missions and a couple survivals will pget me up to level 120 today and I'll pick-up the mini-gun for free.

Way too many people just run into the circle and glitch out the drop. Don't enter the circle and it might come but if you enter the green it's never gonna drop.

Once they glitch once they stay glitched the whole session.

The normal crates are giving 4000rp and smgs

Specials are giving 8000rp 10k cash stickies and minigun.

The glitch is caused by them being in the green circle so the morons claim is quite correct.

Had one apparently inbound last night and there were on 3 other players in the lobby. I was the only one who trekked all the way there and spent 20 minutes waiting for it to drop. It never f*cking did.

Campers with helicopters waiting for crates are bull.

 

Even if there's not much in them, it would be fun to at least once race to it and fight for it. Without those things flying over there in 20 secs.

Phase 01: After Release of GTA, and after the servers were working, the crate drops were rare, but working.

Phase 02: Later, crate drops were more common, but NONE of them actually drop. I tried about 5 out of 5, nothing.

Phase 03: Now, after 1.10 i've seen six crate drops in one session ( about 2hrs ) all of them worked, then two didn't.

 

What is next? Can't R* patch this issue, or is this intentional? I think it's very annoying.

phase one: crate drops came every 30 min even in friend only/invite only lobbies

alpha beta phase: crate drops broke

dingle berry phase zeta: monkeys fly out of random ass

dig dug atari phase: no body cares about crates

The problem is at lvl 131, I don't want to go across the map and into a battle for a crate that may just have RP, which I don't need.

 

I still like someone's idea that there are drug smuggling boats and first one to the boat gets the $.

 

As for crates, would be great to have one that gave 25% or 50% off at Ammunation for a day.

Also quite fun to stealth in, in a buzzard, then fire a few rockets, then leave..

 

 

Managed to get a crate last night though with my 2nd character (lvl9)... Saw someone racing up to the radio mast behind the Vinewood sign... they were ahead of me.. but they didn't think for one minute to actually drive in a straight line and not on the roads..

 

I did feel bad for a teeny tiny moment when I realised they were lvl3 and probably would've been better off with it..

Do crates only drop in public sessions now? I havent been seeing crates for awhile now but been getting the green circles with nothing. One had a few dead grove st gang members in the center and this was way north in sandy shores.
