I did about 70-odd Coveted missions on Friday to get from lvl93 to 100...

 

I think I broke something in my brain doing it tbh...

Four hours?!? Took me about 30-45 mins to finish the whole playlist Didn't want to restart it though because I had to go somewhere lol

 

 

Ah - that depends on how you do it though... I'm after RP gain, so I snipe every single enemy (and that's 4 hours with a break factored in..)..

 

Math is, base RP = 1825 IIRC, plus 25% free aim bonus, plus 625RP from all kills, so it comes out at 2950RP per mission...

 

Now that you can select every mission, rooftop rumble is faster in money.Have a friend provide helicopter getaway.

18,500 in 2.5 min

Helicopter Getaway is good for grinding RR. The enemies sometimes luckshot you totally out of your car.

This appears to be xbox only. This users maps are on xbox. Before discovering that I had tried adding this playlist to my game and it would not show up in bookmarked playlists.

 

Edited to add that thanks to that playlist linking CCO3 I was able to bookmark the ps3 version of the mission and make a PS3 version of the playlist. If you want to make your own just click the mission to bring it up separate of the playlist and add it to game. It will show up in bookmarked jobs when you go to create the playlist.

Have you tried doing the boat races, 3000rp for a 4 minute race this weekend, a nice switch up to doing coveted if you want rp, only 6000$ but hey...

I'm busy with school so don't really have time to look at the missions. If anyone can figure out how to get Rooftop Rumble via socialclub please let me know! As soon as we get a hold of that link, We'll be making playlists for days!

Did a 16 in a row grind this morning..

 

Halfway through I thought I'd random things up by calling a tank...

So, off I go, get the tank, wipe out all the enemies pretty damn quick, complete the mission..

Reload the next mission.. and lo and behold!! The tank was exactly where I'd left it parked!!

 

then the next mission... then the next.. then the next.. (you get the idea..)

 

So for about three minutes additional work, if you leave the tank in the right position (still have to snipe 4), then you can easily shave up to 90 seconds off per mission!

Well, I used the end of the ridge, just after the first car..

 

Snipe the guy behind the first car, snipe the sanchez fuel tanks at the group next to the container (4x kill if done right)..

 

Get in car, drive to tank, get in, destroy remaining groups and take out pilot. job done.

 

Only problem is, you're exposed getting into the tank, so you have to buy armour each round, but you save $$$ on ammo.

 

and heavy sniper seriously helps for the sanchez group - otherwise, snipe them individually...

I tried the tank last night - took the equivalent of probably two runs through to go and get it and bring it back to the cove but it is a great fun way of mixing it up. The friend I was playing with got his buzzard at the same time; he did get sniped a few times so it was smoking after one run through and he had to ditch it partway through the second go, but it might also work well.

 

Anyway, plan is now for me to get the tank while he's doing the mission alone (to save wasting time); by the third run through in the playlist it might be somewhere near enough to be of assistance

Did the same, but with the tank being brought over in one run..

 

Method was, 1 player clears out the Cove, kills pilot, waits with helicopter

 

2nd player doing this while player 1 does the killing, phones up for tank, phones up Merry weather chopper, goes get tank, returns tank to near top of hill (while player 1 does the killing)

 

Player 1 then returns container. end of mission.

 

Only takes a couple of minutes longer than a normal one player shot at the mission..

 

That way tank is in place for the 2nd mission onwards.. and definitely don't try driving tank up the hill, go round the side of the cove then take it up the ridge to where the first car is on the map...

 

We got it down to about 3:40 all in last night, destroying everything...

I think the Merryweather chopper is the secret to getting it there in one play through - simply running back over the hill to my car took a while, then I had to drive to the tank spawn location at Redwood Lights. Cheers for the suggestion, Herr Doktor

Sooo close.... sooooo close..... awdammit...!!

 

x10, before deciding to go round the hill...

 

oh and beware of getting the tank stuck between trees...

 

The forest is a fecking trap and a half for them... and no amount of swearing, stick wiggling, throwing the control out the window is going to get that tank out of there..

 

(and the cargobob can only pick ujpo the container in the mission it seems.. )
