Yes, they're going to release a storymode DLC this year.

You can: rob store, racing, explore the map, get 100%, get gold, buy cars, tune cars, etc, etc.

For real? You read it on Rockstar site or something and did they metion buying a safehouse?

 

One guy said to me he can buy safehouses by destroing all Lenny Avery signs and complete the missions for Josh. He got an email afterwards from Dynasty and since then he can buy safehouses at the Dynasty website. I did it as well but still cant buy a safehouse, did the guy lie or did i do something wrong?

Whoever told you that you can buy new safehouses in single player is full of sh*t. You can only do that Online.

Until the dlc nothing really, that's why Online is there.

 

R* wants Online to progressively become the main focus of GTA, singleplayer will fall of to the wayside eventually. Don't blame R*, that's just the way the videogame market is going, there's more demand for online multiplayer games than singleplayer ones. Even The Elder Scrolls series seems to be heading in this direction, much to my chagrin.

 

People want to play games with their friends, I can't think of any AAA singleplayer title that people don't say, "Oh, I wish this had online co-op or multiplayer." Valve, who built their company on singleplayer games, has said that there is no future in exclusively single player titles for them.

 

Singleplayer is becoming a niche market. Indie devs.will be the future of singleplayer games when the big devs drop it though. So, there will still be singleplayer games, but they will be few and far between. Though, that's not necessarily a bad thing as those games on average will be far superior than the mass of titles in the past.

I don't know what's worse. Getting bored after you beat the game, or getting bored in the middle of a playthrough.

As others suggest, you can try for 100% or even replay the whole thing, dicker more w/ vehicle modding etc. You can roam the map looking for anything interesting, some ppl have said they've found random bodies in vehicles or there was a topic on Mt Chiliad *mystery* made new here

You can also try looking over the board for some other topics that relate to diff activities, like if you care about race times, you can even go online and do some invite only sessions etc to race w/ friends or alone to get lap times. If you care anything about taking photos then join in the professional snapmatic competition or just post some nice pix using diff filters/angles etc, in the snapmatic topic.
