Yes, they're going to release a storymode DLC this year.

You can: rob store, racing, explore the map, get 100%, get gold, buy cars, tune cars, etc, etc.

You can't buy houses in the game, man.

You should be able to, at least, import your Online belongings in SP.

I know.

What were R* thinking? They even confirmed that we could buy houses. What a bummer. :(

Go for 100 %
You can see what you got left to do on Rockstar Social Club.
I've done it and it is really fun, some hidden missions are really great.

There is many things to see if you try to reach 100% completion. Space Docker, Easter eggs even alternate endings via the replay mission function.

Have you played previous GTAs? If so, you cannot be lost on things to do in V. sandbox it up.

Just goof off, kill people, drive around, get in a police chase. Something I find fun to do to waste time is go on the train and just start shooting everything, and then eventually get up to 5 stars and just start shooting down the helicopters and stuff.

Also fun to go to the beach and rent a bike and just crash into people, or just start beating everyone up.

nothing.

this game is boring and they spent too much time on online which they ended up screwing up anyway.

Some things you could do:

- Get 100%

- Get all missions gold

- f*ck around

- Try making money with BAWSAQ (I'm doing this in case I need it for the next DLC).

Just got 100% today. What do I need to do to get the true 100%? Nuclear waste, submarine parts, all random encounters. Anything else?

Play it again.

You can have different heist, or more like the same but with different methods, use the ones you didnt in the last one.

Also, you get slightly different cut scenes if you approach a mission with a different character

Ok forget it. I'm not gonna do that. I'll maybe try to get the platinum trophy, but the true 100% f*ck that.

Sir Winthorpe Herrington

Mess with gangs, play with cheats, go on rampages against the police, fly jets, drive tanks, walk up to random peds and listen to their conversations...then f*ck with them, mod cars, go for a drive, throw sticky bombs in traffic and at ppl outside night clubs, ride jet ski in thunderstorm, role play and make up sh*t to do and use your imagination. There is truly a lot to do, the better your imagination, the better your sandbox experience will be!

platinum takes just about as long as that checklist if not longer.

How are you making money off the stock market when it's still completely broke as f*ck? :bored:

Anyways, OP you could try getting gold for all the air and sea races against NPCs. Those sorts of races are usually more challenging than the land vehicle races as they require significant combat skills.

Send Trevor on a weekend hunting trip up Mt. Chilliad. He can only have a hunting rifle and knife and no bikes or motor vehicles. Try to invite Jimmy along for the trip. Then use only these weapons and Trevor's homicidal rage sessions to try and bag at least 2-3 mountain lions----without getting killed once......

Play as Franklin and take Chop for a walk to the beach and toss him the ball at the beach. Or take Chop to the hood and gang bang the balla homies at Grove St. If you haven't done the collectibles mini game yet, then Grove St. would be a good place to start collecting those letter pieces.

Play as Micheal and make a hiking pilgrimage up Mt. Chilliad to that remote Yoga spot at the top. If he's still alive after jogging/hiking the entire way up there (and/or hasn't become cat food in the process), then get some really great pics as you take the Skytram down.

Play as Franklin or Trevor and hang out with Jimmy at the strip joint. Then take him on a gang banging tour of the hood.

Go on a convenience store robbery spree with each of the 3 protags.

Ride the ferris wheel amusement ride on the pier and take in the city lights at night.

Hitch a ride on one of the trains in one of those empty flatbed cars. Try improving your shooting stat by sniping peds while you're on the moving train. Try to outrun/outlast the wanted levels on the fly. This should be easy as the trains never stop and some go underground.

If you run out of 100% complete stuff in SP, consider online. If so try challenging randoms to do impromptu races. I challenged 3 other randoms to a GTA styled sail boat race with some yachts that spawned in the marina area. We had a great time trying to sail the yachts out that narrow waterway and into the ocean. Raced to the amusement pier and tried to be the first to murder as many beach NPCs possible with heavy snipers.

I have 9 trophies to go. Some are a grind sure, like Solid Gold Baby and Decorated, but that's about it. It's only those two and the online rank 100 that'll eat up a lot of time. I'm already a rank 58, so that's a lot of time saved there. I have like 13 platinum awards in online, and I'm sure by the time I reach rank 100, I'll be very close to it. Solid Gold Baby is the worst one. I only have around 18 golds, so that means a lot of replays, even though I've read that many golds are very easy, especially Strangers & Freaks. I'm also still missing the Nuclear Waste one, but that's one day off from work, and I'll get it. They don't take that long. I did the Letter Scraps yesterday and it only took me 2 hours in a Buzzard. One problem I have though, is that for the Full Refund, nobody ever calls the mugger on me. It happened once in my entire online campaign, and I didn't get to plug him then. Also, the Enjoy Your Stay trophy doesn't seem to have a list of completed things on the Social Club, so I'm having a hard time figuring out what I've left to do. I'm loving the online bit, so it will never feel like a grind to me, although I do think the level 100 is a tad too much. Couldn't it just be like 50 or 75? I think I've proven myself enough online, so why do we need such a high rank?

There really isn't much to do after you complete the main story, but try exploring the map in depth. Search for things people may not have found yet. Go along the ocean floor, do something in that massive map. Get cars for offroading and go around the desert and across the mountains. If that doesn't do it for you, add some cops to the fun.

Play a different game.

I'm currently playing Dead Island at the min, and surprisingly I'm enjoying it more than playing GTA.
