Yes, they went too far.

 

Instead of being a good update, it ended up being great.

Everything else is great. Tommygun and the clothes are cool, But if you have a lot of modded street cars not so much. The resale value of my garage just went down about 500k.

 

 

That's a fair trade off for being able to run Coveted, Base Invaders, Crystal Clear out III etc etc whenever I want, in my opinion.

 

I thought Coveted and CCC3 were already in the job menu. I like to race more often and trick out cars. Cant help it I'm a caraholic..

If they lowered the LSC prices it would be better.

 

 

Well, I don't remember if they were contact missions or not. Either way, contact missions are in there now and the money making potential is great.

That's the glitchers' fault. They are the one who ruined LSC. Now LCS Doesn't have enought money to buy back the chrome adders that you stocked in your 2nd character.

To sell them for full price you need to buy a tracker and insurance. Its only cars that you steal from the street that are capped. Your PVs will still sell for full price.

Been playing a couple months now, only ever clean. Saw the new limo and wanted to buy it, but I have nowhere near 750k. But I thought, no big deal. I'll sell a couple of the cars I don't want anymore, that'll be around 100k in income right there to get me on my way.

 

But, obviously that's not the case. Would have been nice to get a headsup about that so I could have actually seen some of my investment into these cars back. Instead, I might as well just sell Ballers.

 

Not really a fan of the attitude that you have to change the way everything in the game works because of cheaters. This isn't grade school where everyone stays inside for recess if nobody fesses up. And said cheaters have never impacted my gaming, but now the reaction to it has. So, obviously I'm not thrilled about it.

Isnt it VERY CLEAR that the 10k cap is in place to stop money glitching? They have stopped the ability to dupe and have added a cap so people cant give away fully modded cars ( essencially sharing money) and of course selling fully upgraded cars glitched in from SP. Dont care how people dress this up but it was cheating. R* warned that they were stopping it and now they have.

This patch proves R* care about a hell lot more than Cashcards... Increased payouts plus ability to start contact missions from menu/ patching god mode/invis mode. Patching teleporting ( yes i know it wasnt always used cheaply and i used it myself to fast travel but alot of people were using it cheap). / patched noobs ability to use pegasus vehicles without the required rank ( potentially COSTING them cash card sales as i'm sure some have and would buy cash cards to buy a tank or buzzard at low levels).

 

They fixed so much stuff with this patch its incredible and gave us new stuff to boot. If people still cant be happy then maybe its time to consider playing something else.

Nnnno they didn't. Glitching is dumb, and a cheap shortcut in a game.

Again, I've only ever played clean, but I can absolutely say that nobody's glitching has ever impacted my sessions. I've always enjoyed playing. Don't spend any time on these boards complaining about it.

 

Except now, because without warning I've just essentially had money taken away from me. I've had two cars I wasn't all that gungho about keeping, but since I couldn't afford to buy the cars that I wanted to replace them with yet, I figured I'd hold onto them and sell them when I was closer so they could put me over the top. Except now they're not worth anything.

 

And that definitely annoys me.

On the topic, any car that's obtainable on the street (Stealing), its value is capped at 10k in order to stop the transfer of cash between characters and duping. Looks good to me, but then again I'm a selfish prick that could care less about gifting someone a fully modded car so that they can sell it for cash.

I stole the dubsta, put Insurance and Tracker on it, had it for a week probably, therefore it's a personal vehicle, and only sold for 10k.

 

What Rockstar probably meant to do is to prevent people duping cars from SP like the Adder, getting them into MP (with no insurance or tracker cause it's stolen) and selling it for 600k, Only ended up f*cking us who just want to get back more than half the cost of bulletproof tires when we spend 50k on a vehicle.

I get the feeling it's just an oversight. Stolen cars you've modded but NOT put tracker and insurance can only be sold for a max of $10k, but once you track and insure it, it'll sell for a decent price. At least, that is how it should work, in my opinion. Punishes players for choosing to drive something other than a high-end car, which is pretty stupid.

At first, I thought it was just an error, sold it, got 10k. I'm not that bothered, but that's pretty damn stupid of them if it's intentional and not a glitch. I understand if it's just some car off the street, but a fully modded one? Makes no damn sense to me..and now the servers are down LOL.

For me the invincibility glitch in Deathmatches being removed mean more than just making 10K, I mean, find a group of games in a lobby and race and deathmatch for an hour and you can walk out with 50-60K, an easy Survival (Boneyard) and you can easily walk out with 80K in the end, but I understand, this means the non-GTA fans have to actually play the game since the last time I checked, we are not playing GRAND MOD AUTO.

Fixed an exploit where a player could become invincible using the Online to Single Player switch menu.

Sorry, but I haven't downloaded this and I love the update already.

 

EDIT: also, you pay a passive player's hospital bill and vice versa? Again, I love this update already. It shows more confidence to go passive (not that I do it enough) with complete confidence.

 

Basically yeah you lose nothing when killing in passive now.

Now that the tank glitch is fixed too there is no way to really make a passive player lose anything you kill them you pay you blow them up you pay car and bills.

I would still like maybe not allowing for the player killing you to get a kill added to their tally.

Pretty sure if you lost nothing had no deaths or they had no kills added passive players wouldn't care half as much.

I'm sure they will sort the selling prices out after they work out a way to stop the SP-MP glitching. Right now they are concentrating on doing whatever they can to stop cheating in their game. Yup, and I remember last night in a thread asking why everyone was doing it. Obviously for money but..why? They were just bound to get fed up with it. Personally, I think modding a car, selling it and giving the money to a crew member is fine and a good way to be a good sport as opposed ot the usual people who just try their hardest to make people's game time in-game miserable.

This is exactly right. hell...with the new payouts you can make 100k in 20 minutes.

 

The only people that this truly effects in the long run are the car dupers/glitchers that take pride in their minimum 100k per 48 minutes car sales..... Game will be better without these assholes. f*ck them.
