only Oracle 2 though, methinks. makes somewhat sense, but then again, not. they shoulda rather moved the sultan to sedans, that would really have made sense.

With the Sultan, Exemplar, Buffalo MK2 and a few others how about just a Sports Sedan class? I would say move the Futo to the compact class but it would shred everything else in class. Maybe throw in the Penumbra, make a Compact Sport class. Quite a few cars don't exactly fit the class they're in.

No, Buffalo v1 was sport already. I'm 100% sure about it.

 

No one can tell about Voltic in sports or not ?

Both Buffalo's have always been Sport and Voltic is in the Super category.

The notes say that Sentinal XS and Oracle were moved to sport. The normal Sentinal is still in coupe. The Voltic is still in super and the buffalo 1 and 2 are still in sport. These were seen personally last night.

 

Why they changed the Sentinal XS and Oracle I have no idea...I was smoking them both regularly in my Exemplar. Makes no sense

 

I can not confirm the compact class changes made above...I ran a compact race but we were not looking for those as they were not listed.

my normal sentinel (hardtop cabrio) was classed as a sports last night...

 

changing the XS and Sentienl to sports sucks for me because a) i like it b) it gets smoked in coupes, never mind sports... it jsut wont be competative c) now my race garage has 2 "sports" cars im gonna have to replace my fav car with something in the coupes category to remain prepared... d) exemplars fuuugly but faster and better, lol

 

i never minded losing in coupes w my sentinel/ XS because of the style factor... now competing against feltzers and elegy's would jsut be wounding... and ill never race it because i already own an elegy...

 

worst part i can only sell them for 10k, because there was no way in hell i was buying a car i could steal so easily....

I can confirm as I own a Bollokan Prairie and did the tests. Classed as coupé now, PV available to choose in coupé and compact races

 

Also, both Oracle 1 and 2 are sports (I have stolen.both to check). Can not confirm in what category they are available for racing.

 

All this is mixed up now...

Interesting. We clearly had someone in a standard Sentinal racing as a coupe last night. Maybe the PV is available for both like the above post says for the Prarie?

 

I still don't understand what they are doing...the prarie was one of the worst of the compact class...what use will it be in coupe? Just skipped right over sedan? I think I could probably beat it in a race bicycle.

This list of accepted cars for races might not be limited to class name.

 

We've had a thread on car class changes before, and I will go ahead and say that now that some have been changed, I think the Bullet needs to drop a class.

They need to quit categorizing the classes by Sedan, Sports, Coupes etc. If Rockstar actually cared about the racing aspect, they would group the cars based on speed/acceleration numbers. This would be a much better way of putting cars together in a group that could actually all compete with each other. This is the way it's done in real drag racing and it's how it should be(9 second car, 10 second car etc)

 

This would be the only way they could truly group cars together that belong together.

Sadler should be moved from Utility to Off-Road imo.

 

Not that I'd use it but it would please off-road enthusiasts of having more choice. Besides, I can imagine the Sadler looking good in off-road races.

Maybe its based on mod's, i have both the Sentinel and the XS and can confirm they both are under sport's

 

So stock Sentinel maybe coupes and modded ones up to sports, same structure as in Forza maybe?

Voltic is still in Supers. At least it's avaliable to race in the Supers class. Im a bit pissed at my Prairie now being a coupe. Loved that thing and was doing time trials equal to what i could do in a issy.Guess ill forget about the compacts and just get a Bifta and take on the Off Roaders.

Might be worth checking each of these cars. After a mild panic seeing my sentinal appear as an option in a sports race, I started a coupe race and it appears there too. The Sentinal is definitely usable in both classes and the others might be too...

You can keep it. As I said previously, the Prairie (custom PV) is available for both Compact and Coupé races. Even if it's classed as a coupé now.

Ahh cool. I must have misunderstood. I took it as only a non custom could be raced in compacts. theres no chance in hell it would hang with the Coupes. Havent had the chance to race with it yet anyway...Been testing it on Over the Hump vs Issy and im pretty much equal. prairie is slower but i feel handles better allowing faster cornering.

 

Any idea if they still have the Fusilade in sports? That should be in compacts too imo.

The Sentinel should have been in the sports class from the start. However it needs a performance boost. Perhaps it will finally get one now.
