This game's been trashed since 2011 or so... What a shame... it was a good multiplayer... what a rotten way to die. Specially the PC version, they still haven't moved it over to steamworks or SocialClub or whatever. GFWL is will get shut down later this year and it seems like they don't care. Yeah, it's kind of sad, but at least the multiplayer-part itself is still functioning properly by itself, unlike the one of Red Dead Redemption. blowtorchrepair Posted May 6, 2014 Share Posted May 6, 2014 a friend and myself played some TLAD freemode last night for the first time since last summer, and we had a great time. we were in a game that ranged anywhere from 5-13 players for nearly 2 hours. I didn't detect any modders or hackers by seeing anything that was out of the ordinary. We are eager to play more and hope the experiences are like that of last night. Considering that GFWL is being shut down this summer. it's not true...r* have their own social club sistem (like gfwl) and they can do it with GTA IV. Then some idiot teleported us all of the way to the far west side of the map 2500 ft above water and we lost all of our modded cars. Then some cool biker modder came in and made ramps for us and gave us Sanchez's but then some red idiot tried to snipe me so I wanted to kick him. The f*cking modder, oblivious to what was going on, ignorantly assumed that I was starting trouble and had me frozen. I think all modders who freeze people should have their consoles smashed. I actually never got to experience it fully because at first I had no desire for MP, and then when I gave it a try for the first time, I was killed within seconds after I joined a lobby. I have nothing against modding/hacking/cheating as long as it makes the game funnier and more enjoyable. If, however, people are deliberately trying to ruin my experience, then that's just pissing me off to say the least.
