I see all these threads about the new car and other stuff from the latest DLC and I have to say "so f*cking what". While this seems a hell of allot better than the POS beach bum DLC I still find myself underwhelmed. I have zero interest in any of this DLC... it's all pointless window dressing. Still no heists, not that I give a sh*t about heists, but a very vocal minority has been screaming about the lack of them and what/when they we promised. Still no casino, investments in stocks, businesses, or anything else that might cut into shark card sales. Are you guys really so easily distracted and appeased? I haven't played in two weeks and this has nothing to draw me back in, the folks at R*... what the f*ck are they doing with their time and money (they sure as sh*t aren't fixing any real problems with game play). Does anyone know where we can find stats on player levels in GTAO over time? I would be interested to see those.

had you taken the time to read the threads your know the dangerous business pack is also on standby..

 

and that heist info has already been leaked (not that you care)

 

from your post it seems you just dont care enough to play anymore.... and you think anyone here really misses you,,, or that they are remotely bothered by your apathy...?? if you dont care about the game, maybe visiting a forum dedicated to it isnt the right thing for you... why not go back to GTAIV and post here

what makes me sad is how incredibly subtle the definition of 'new topic' is around here. i've seen people moan about how sardonic the replies often are, well here's why, anytime someone has a (possibly) worthwhile 2cents on any given subject they make a new topic, so crappy replies like this one are almost all that's left. :whistle:

i really dont like McDonalds.... pisses me off sooo much that they still sell big macs even though i hate them... and dont even get me started on egg mc f*cking muffins.... OMG its ridiculous that they sell food i dont like,,,

I come here to stay informed on the current state of the game, But yeah, I'm bored as sh*t with it. All the issues with free roam/passive players R* continues to ignore, the ongoing nerfing of cash to promote cash cards (you can only sell PV for $10,000?!?), the lack of real new content (like the casino, heists, or investment opportunities) but hey, they gave you another car (for the low price of $750,000 [cash sink]) and a few new outfits. After 4 months of this how are more people not pissed? Again, are you really so easily distracted/appeased by such useless bullsh*t?

well if you stoped beleiveing internet hype and actually checked the game youd know that not all PV's are selling at 10k, so your point is a bit warped in that sense...

 

and the new cars a sports calssic. makes sense its priced appropriately. its a limited offer, so price is a limiting factor... seems obv

 

as for heists and investments opportunity.. youve obviously not read enough threads to realise the dangerous business pack has been announced and is in pre-release...

f*ck we should make a call of doody forum just for this purpose.... then ill post on there about how i dont even own a copy of COD never mind stopped playing it because i know people really care about that sort of stuff and i dont want them losing sleep from not knowing,, i mean there's tons of people who dont know what i dont do... man im gonna have to inform alot of people about what i dont do, otherwise the world might collapse...

 

i might even need to ask some people for help because if i dont do something, i dont know i could do it, so how many things dont i know i dont do that someone might need to know about... you know?

I'm more excited for the car in this dlc than I was for the whole beach bum pack but I do agree, these releases are underwhelming at best.

 

I'm still having a ton of fun with the race creator though so it doesn't really bother me.

It is easy to make money in this game, admittedly the heists would be an interesting feature as they would add to gameplay, the other stuff is you just bein a whiney bitch wanting easy money since they fixed hackin. They aren't pushing cash cards any more than they were the day of release, they are just modifying payouts so you actually have to put effort into your rewards, otherwise what's the point in money at all, the might as well give everyone everything and wait for the game to die in two weeks time.

 

More on point, I have a full time 9-6 weekdays job, I played the game for about 6 hours over last weekend, fri/sat/sun avoided freeroam, opted for the higher paid jobs but wasn't repeating anything, so between landing gear (still my fav mission) rooftop rumble n the others paying out 15-25k I made nearly 400k, sold a few cars at LSC... piece of piss. Now I am sitting at work fidgeting wanting to go spend my hard earned cash and still play the same missions again cos I'm reading higher payouts and new stuff costs money (gives me a reason to play)... nothing but good news as far as I'm concerned

I don't think I'm owed anything. I just can't believe that anyone would/could get excited over this DLC. People have been giving R* the benefit of the doubt for months now, and even dealing with the hacking, they only seem interested in fixing issues with the game that might cut into cash card sales. Am I the only one that think R*'s time and money could/should be better spent? Are there players out there that would prefer this DLC to say a completely passive free roam? Or to new content like heists, or a casinos, etc? With R*'s track record with the game so far am I the only one that things won't be improving anytime soon? But hey, we got a tommy gun! What a game changer!

I agree. I play the game and enjoy it but that doesn't make me exempt from having a problem with all the constant flaws. It's called having mixed feelings and 99% of the forum doesn't understand that concept.

yea cos fixing the cornrows glitch was really related to cashcards

 

oh and content creator was obviously for cash cards

 

and free weapons clothes and vehicles in beach-bum, that sold loads of cashcards too

 

and patching the god mode (sp character wheel) glitch, man i bet the cash card sales are through the roof because of fixing that one...

 

bringing back the ratloader for free, with free mods... oh man i need a cash card for that too dont i...

 

and setting spawn location to random... i wish i could afford that, might need to buy a cashcard..

 

and i wont forget my cashcard when im calling my mechanic and the douchnozzle no longer drives round the block twice with my car.. cos cashcards stopped him from being a comeplte f*ckwit...

His/her only aim was to illicit a negative response from others in order to make his/her own meager existence that much more fulfilling. But it baffles me how people who dislike something choose to still engage in it? Oh yeah...internet.

f*ck we should make a call of doody forum just for this purpose.... then ill post on there about how i dont even own a copy of COD never mind stopped playing it because i know people really care about that sort of stuff and i dont want them losing sleep from not knowing,, i mean there's tons of people who dont know what i dont do... man im gonna have to inform alot of people about what i dont do, otherwise the world might collapse...

 

i might even need to ask some people for help because if i dont do something, i dont know i could do it, so how many things dont i know i dont do that someone might need to know about... you know?

DLC tommorrow (at least officially) with minor bonus items.

Major DLC next week (18th) with Hiests and information regarding Dangerous Business pack.

and that heist info has already been leaked (not that you care)

 

from your post it seems you just dont care enough to play anymore.... and you think anyone here really misses you,,, or that they are remotely bothered by your apathy...?? if you dont care about the game, maybe visiting a forum dedicated to it isnt the right thing for you... why not go back to GTAIV and post here

 

I come here to stay informed on the current state of the game, But yeah, I'm bored as sh*t with it. All the issues with free roam/passive players R* continues to ignore, the ongoing nerfing of cash to promote cash cards (you can only sell PV for $10,000?!?), the lack of real new content (like the casino, heists, or investment opportunities) but hey, they gave you another car (for the low price of $750,000 [cash sink]) and a few new outfits. After 4 months of this how are more people not pissed? Again, are you really so easily distracted/appeased by such useless bullsh*t?

 

well if you stoped beleiveing internet hype and actually checked the game youd know that not all PV's are selling at 10k, so your point is a bit warped in that sense...

 

and the new cars a sports calssic. makes sense its priced appropriately. its a limited offer, so price is a limiting factor... seems obv

 

as for heists and investments opportunity.. youve obviously not read enough threads to realise the dangerous business pack has been announced and is in pre-release...

i ifxed our list.... i think were gonna have alot of traffic on this site... ill ask rockstar if i need to buy a cashcards and microtransactions to cover the server cost...

 

oh an i hear aliens only havent come to earth yet because we didn't buy enough cashcards....

and Jkrowling orignally wrote harry potter on a the back of a receipt... for a cashcard....

Expecting giant amounts of new content was your mistake. You shouldn't expect anything unless they announce it. You are just the consumer and don't get to choose what they make. Play the game or leave. We don't care.
