Albany Roosevelt, only available for limited time?

Will the Roosevelt also only be available for a limited time? Rockstar says "Everything in the Valentine’s Day Massacre Special will be available for a limited time starting this Friday, but once acquired you will be able to keep them in your inventory for good."

 

That really sounds like the answer would be "yes" but it seems strange to me that they would add a car which costs around 700k, and then give players only a few days to buy one. Also, they said "inventory" and not "garage".

 

If I never get the chance again, I want to buy it for sure. I'm thinking about buying it for my second character because my main character already has a full garage. The problem is that I'm saving up for a Buzzard and I'm at 1.2 mil. This would really set me far back again. I would much rather buy it later.

I think inventory covers garage too, or atleast I hope so, 'cause I just spend about a million on the Roosevelt (car price + mods).

I bought all the clothes, so I'm sure to keep that after valentines. Same with the new gun.

I'm so gonna LMFAO if they actually remove them out of the garages after a few days, when people have spend over a 1.000.000 into it. It would be R* at its finest.

Don't worry, R* is so lazy to the point where even when they remove it all you'll likely just be able to set the date on your PS3 to valentines day and it'll be there again rofl

I'd assume that if you have it in a garage after the limited time is up that you will keep it. I dont think it will be avaliable like the beach bum vehicles after the time is up though.

You can only buy the Roosevelt for limited time....you can ALWAYS buy a Buzzard.

Yeah, that's the way I feel too. It just kinda sucks because it's taken me a couple of weeks to get to 1.2 million and now it looks like I'll be down to 500k again. I think I'll be buying it for my second character so I don't lose any cars and I never play with that character, so I'll really have nothing to show for it until I start working on my second character when I'm satisfied with my main one. Gonna wait until tomorrow to buy it though for the very slight possibilty that it will be free.

Bought a cash card to buy the car real quick so I'd have it after it's removed... had 6 cars in a ten care garage so I decided to downgrade to a 6 car garage. I even sold a car so I'd only have 5 so my new Roosevelt wouldn't get destroyed... Don't know why it's gone. I called the insurance company and the impound, nothing. I have no idea why but it pisses me off because I basically paid real money for it, I bought a cash card specifically to buy the car... it's a little sneaky and a little too convenient, if you ask me.

you probably had it impounded and then called mechanic for another car and forgot to call mors mutual

I would go to gamestop and sell the game if they did that. I'd rather them take away my adder. Ugliest car of all time = Adder. Classiest car of all time = Roosevelt.

You probably had the Roosevelt in one of the higher slots in the 10 car garage and when you downgraded it went into "storage". Even though you had only 5 cars, if any of them were in the higher numbered slots, they won't transfer to the smaller garage. If you buy a place with a 10 car garage again, it will be back. I will never see the point in downgrading from a 10 car garage. Hell i want more spaces.

I have to agree. The Beach Bum cars are all still available and those are FREE....why would Rockstar remove a car that costs 750K and stimulates cash card purchases.

My opinion is that the car is here to stay.

Maybe I will buy one when they cut the price 50% next valentines Day. LOL.

I bought it today. I love the car, sold my Baller for it (10k for a fully modded car, god damn it). With the missions having been added to the start menu I'll make the money back quickly. I just made 200k in like an hour.

 

My favorite things about it are its awesome horn, and when you turn the bright lights on, 2 small lights besides the window like in the stock market crash pic above come on. It gives off a really yellow light, unlike any other car in the game.
