Well we don't know for sure, but all the Beach Bum items were free of charge so I really find it strange the Roosevelt unlocked but costing 750kk

 

I guess R* made a mistake

It will be a f*cking joke if it isn't free. Not everyone has that much disposable cash to buy it. We know the car is available for a limited time so what's the point in making it limited if they're going to charge so much for it anyway? At least make it a one day exclusive.

Just checked the files. It will be free for 24hrs starting midnight EST tonight.

 

Proof or what you said is Fake. The Rat loader is free and all of its upgrades are free so I highly doubt the Roosevelt is going to be free.

people bitch and moan so damn much. this is the first DLC where youve actually had to "pay" for something, and its only paid for using game cash anyways... if your that desperate for one get yourself farming some missions (contact missions are now in the online jobs menu) or sell some cars and earn the money.... or take the hit

 

but things are "limited" because that makes them exclusive and exclusive things are desirable... if it was free and everyone could afford it, then it would hardly be "limited" or "exclusive" or desirable... i certainly wont get on if its free...

Guys, it probably will be free. They wouldn't make a limited-time vehicle cost so much. Besides, didn't anybody notice that this DLC was supposed to be released TOMORROW? Maybe they accidentally released it early and thats why it costs so much. Just wait it out until tomorrow, and we'll see what happens.

its not like they just reset everyone to less than $750k...

if you havent played since the money swipe you arent buying one of these.

 

if you do buy one its a huge investment of money/game time. give us more garage space you greedy bastards.

The problem is after the reset ALOT of people simply can't afford this new vehicle leaving you with two other options... Don't bother or buy a shark card.

 

Rockstar aren't stupid they know exactly what they're up too, you just have to look at it from a different perspective...

 

Microtransactions are rife within the gaming world now and slowly but surely Rockstar are edging closer to making us pay for certain bits of content.

Maybe when they said limited, it meant the car will be free for a limited time tomorrow but that it will always be available for purchase at 750k.

They would not have bothered coding prices into something that would be offered free for the entire time it will be available. Is it at all possible that the wording denotes that the price would be limited time but the items would then be available afterwards for normal prices? Like "car will be available for free for a limited time..." could go either way. Possible that clever wording has us all freaking out and jumping on bandwagon when in reality it is just a new car that will always be there...but free for V-day?

It sounds like that's not what they mean, but I would find it highly illogical.
