Another thing I'm gonna miss is rearranging my cars with the mechanic/MMI car dupe glitch.

 

I hate how I have to walk around for my car to spawn then walk all the way to get it.

I miss him alot, i have to run to my car or bike now instead of it being deliverd by that chump right in front of me. I miss shooting him or kicking him or dragging him along the ride when his arm gets stuck between my leg and the bike.

My mechanic lived up to his title "johnny on the spot". he always delivered my vehicles promptly. i never had an issue with him, a baseball bat to the skull was "my" way of saying thank you to him. I ve had more issues with the merryweather pricks (helicopter pick up) that would never show up up but did take my cash.

Poor guy.. they should've fixed his AI and kept his poor soul..

In the early patches he would get aggressive as soon as he delivered the car. I always had to flee from my own mechanic.

 

I recently had a bug where i was in a street full of mechanics.. They were everywhere!
But.. Maybe it wasn't a bug.... Maybe these were all the mechanics i ever owned.. and they came back to say goodbye for one last time.

 

We'll never hear that; "that scratch was already there ya?" or "here she is!" again.

Instead of developing him further into becoming my sidekick.. they removed him.. i'm bursting in tears right now!

I seen him walking once in the south end of Los Santos. I had to get out and give him a beatdown. Another time,I was doing a mission with 3 other people. We spawned - no cars. We all called and sure enough,there was 4 of them. I took out 2 driving off. I'm kinda gonna miss GTAO's punching bag.

The vehicles now spawn with the default radio station for that model. The car you have probably uses Channel X. The Surano uses EL.

What was the reasoning for removing him? Sure he was a moron who couldn't see you standing on the other side of the road and insisted on driving around another few blocks (or halfway across the county) to get to you, but at least he was there for you when you needed him.

 

I would have rather they fixed issues like spawning back into Free Roam after a Lester mission, and you are down in the gully below the compound and your car is IN the compound forcing you to run all the way around.
