Who's the best racer in town?

I haven't seen any topics about this so if there are sorry and please post link for me.

Some say racing in GTAO is all luck, some disagree, i think luck is just an excuse and skill is required.

I think my stats are pretty awesome and want to compare it with others, see whos the best...

Granted my 1st account was hacked and banned, busy rectifying with Sony, so i have a 2nd account.

1st account 137/90 win/loss ratio.

2nd account 600/319 win/loss ratio.

so i have a combined total of 737/409 win/loss ratio.

Im not sure how one would cheat those stats but i dont, i race and try race clean unless others play dirty, if one did cheat somehow they only fooling themselves and will have no real appreciation for their stats as i do as mine are legit.

i'd like to think that's me, but in all honesty there are some factors to be considered such as:

 

- track type

- class (muscle, super, sport, sport classic)

- opponents (are they clean and honest racers, or do they ram you off)

- custom vehicles (i found out that i race better in my own personal cars)

 

maybe we should try and organise a forum race sometime

we could set up some ground rules before and go from there

if anybody wants to organise, i'm in

This race series is the best way to make an even race series and it is always really close.

I think a better way of determining who is the best racer in town wouldnt be through win/loss ratio.... someone winning 1000 races of criminal records is hardly better than someone who wins 30 runs of grand tour... plus thats an easily manipulated statistic

 

 

why not show some of your best race times instead??? so find a track on Social Club, take a screenshot of your time on the leaderboard and see if any GTAF members have or can beat it...

 

heres some from me, its now actually ranked at 135 not 95.. but the times still the same

I can do laps with supers on Dipping In under 2:11. Downtown Underground in 1:06. No slipstreams required, either.

 

I'd swear that's a better way to brag than the sketchy W/L records. I smell quitters in just about every race. And not that "at least you tried" kind of quitting. It's the one's who quit right after the start that get me. Didn't get the turbo...? lol

I got 792/790 now.

 

Racing in this game is about being a master at handling corners, being aware of where other cars are around you, positioning (not always placing yourself in 1st even if you can), knowing all the dirty tricks and learn to manage all the small details needed to win ease most of the times.

 

It feels more like a game of chess now, rather than just mindless racing which it did the first 300 races or so...

My record is ~700 / ~200. I'll tell you I focus on quitting only when I get particularly worked over in a race, but you'd be crazy to believe anyone on that. lol

 

I'll also shamefully admit I didn't realize how to quit fully saves your record, until ~500 races in. If I'd realized that earlier, I could've gave friends wins without taking loses.

believe the leader-board does only show your fastest time, so its likely bikes/supers/sports will be the ones youll see...

 

but lap/p2p times are a much better determination of the "better" drivers...
