SilentMase
There are two levels of podcasts that I listen to: The ones I listen to as soon as they drop, and those that I listen to when I have time. Favs: Tell'em Steve Dave, Rooster Teeth, The Patch, Hollywood Babble-on, Film Junk, Doug Loves Movies OK: The Comedy Button, Smodcast, Four Eyes and Beard (FEAB), Nerdist (Nerdist is really good when I know who the guest is) Anyways, what does everyone else like? Moonshield
WTF with Marc Maron except for the first 10 minutes. Dude has some great insight a lot of times considering what he's been through, I always enjoy his conversations with comedians and the like, but f*ck he can be a whiner. Doug Loves Movies is always top-knotch, especially when disruptive guests like TJ Miller and How Did This Get Made - bad movie discussions coupled with Jason Manzouckas's outrage at said bad movies. The Nerdist The HP Lovecraft Literary Podcast - dissertations on Lovecraft are good, but the readings of his and related author's writings are what I come for. Cromcast - like the HP Lovecraft podcast but for Robert E Howard Tyler

Tyler
The HP Lovecraft Literary Podcast - dissertations on Lovecraft are good, but the readings of his and related author's writings are what I come for. Love this one. To add to this, Pseudopod is a great horror podcast that regularly reads submitted works. Stuff You Should Know - great hosts, and they talk about a wide variety of things. Probably my favorite podcast for the novelty of it. TechStuff - similar format to the above, but with topics concerning emerging technology and some business in that vein. Common Sense - Dan Carlin's political podcast. I agree with this guy's points but more than anything he challenges some other opinions of mine, and he does so in an eloquent way. This is one of the main political commentators I can enjoy listening to Hardcore History - Dan Carlin again. Long-form podcasting on various historical topics. His current series on WWI is god damn great. On the Media - Slightly liberal journalist podcast. Covers local and national news on various topics. Usually all right, but I've been falling out of this one lately. The Comedy Button - I mainly listen for Scott Bromley and Max Scoville. The other hosts kind of annoy the sh*t out of me but each episode manages to make me laugh a bit. Still, can't stand Brian. Intelligence^2 Debates - Just NPR sponsored debates on various subjects. Most recent one is on Obamacare. Offers a good variety of opinions on relevant topics but I f*cking hate the gameshow aspect of these debate podcasts. If they would do away with the concept of "winning" in front of a live studio audience, I'd love this podcast a lot more. All Songs Considered - I'm a hipster. Sex Nerd Sandra - great diversity of topics covered in this one. The host of the show is funny and the guests she has regularly interest me. The Indoor Kids - Video games podcast. Good variety of topics concerning the industry, and the hosts themselves are entertaining. The New Yorker Poetry - I'm a hipster. Nerdist - Ridiculous amount of interesting guest spots. Rob Zombie, Tegan and Sara, Jon Benjamin, Michael C Hall, etc I listen to podcasts quite a bit while working since I work alone. Gone through a lot of them but these ones have stayed with me for a while.

Kippers
At the moment the only one I listen to every week is the Giant Bombcast. I followed all the good Gamespot guys over there in '08 and it's basically been a weekly addiction since then. It varies in quality, but when I see 3hrs on the timer, I gets excited. Also BBC Radio 5 Live's Film Review Show with Kermode and Mayo. Always a good listen for film opinions. El Dildo
yes. exactly. sorry, I'll add a little more. a podcast is like a radio show except that it's better than radio in every single possible way. radio sucks a dick because it's run by corporate suit guys (read: old white men) who try to decide what's entertaining and they suck dick at it. podcasts (generally) have no format and no rules. they can talk about anything using any kind of language they want. trip
I'm so bummed because of no more Brodeo that I no longer listen to podcasts. You guys may not know this but you guys owe your gaming existence to these guys, their peers and their guest. I'm so sad, and this stuff is so important to what we call the industry today that I re-listen to the archives over and over again. (*ask my wife) https://archive.org/details/gfwpodcast You should start at ep 1, but feel free to just check out the best of. Don't be alarmed by the weird musical story stuff in the best of - you kind of need to have followed the whole podcast. For many reasons the Brodeo morphed into a pseudo intellectual podcast. http://ooccommunity.com/media/out-of-the-game-archive/ Trust me - these guys shaped what we call the industry today.
