Two of them were on loan from General Motors, and the others were owned by the museum. The cars on loan from GM: • 1993 ZR-1 Spyder on loan from General Motors • 2009 ZR1 “Blue Devil” on loan from General Motors The other six vehicles owned by the museum are: • 1962 Black Corvette • 1984 PPG Pace Car • 1992 White 1 Millionth Corvette • 1993 Ruby Red 40th Anniversary Corvette • 2001 Mallett Hammer Z06 Corvette • 2009 White 1.5 Millionth Corvette Edited February 13, 2014 by El_Diablo Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Did they get the cars out when you see it I'm not sure. The thing about sinkholes is you have to wait. They may even "sink" more after the initial collapse so some engineers are doing some testing so it will be safe to retrieve the cars. It really sucks for me because I just turned in an application there just to get a 2nd job. Also I got to sit in the Blue devil not 3 weeks ago. GoldenBlade Posted March 4, 2014 Share Posted March 4, 2014 Such a shame to see this stuff happening, especially to such valuable vehicles. I saw the video today where two of the Corvettes were brought out of the sinkhole. It was wonderful to see the blue Corvette (can't remember exact year) back out on solid ground, with the engine roaring. Now, there are six more Vettes left to rescue.
