They could get all reset back to 1 during another maintenance sweep, that could be next on Rockstars agenda. Especially if they are going to add more level unlockable items, which I think they will eventually. Lots of people thought the billions were staying as well. Only time will tell.

 

EDIT: I think everyone who used the DNS to reach level 400-1000, should be forced to wear Trevors mint floral dress for an entire year, and not have access to any other clothing items, tattoos, and stuck with a bald head.

I was really happy when R* flushed all that hacked cash down the toilet along with the god mode noobs.

 

 

So when is R* going to get rid of the people who used those DNS server to level up? Granted there are some legit lv 200's out there but seeing how higher levels means more health and better weapons. It only seems fair to get rid of the people who cheated for this stuff.

And how would you know if the LV 1000 IS LEGIT?

 

a legit lv 1000? There may be some no life loser out there that could do that but when you see level 800's with driving skills that of lv 3's.... kinda makes you question what is the point of leveling up and earning sh*t yourself yet these 12 year olds get away it so they an have their "1337 tanks and rpgs".

The highest legit level I know personally is level 336. 2500 combined road and parachute races, and 1000 death matches. I'm sure there are maybe a few 400s low to mid 400s that are real, but either have farmed Rooftop Rumble 1500 times, or have 3-4000 races under their belt.

^ This...They are cheats,plain and simple. I put up with them for now as they are all pretty easy to deal with even with their blinking god mode ( 2 stickies works a treat ) but i would rather they werent there. I would rank reset them back to 1 and let them decide wether to rank up legit or f*ck off.

 

Iso modders are a bigger problem than rank 1000's anyway so i'd rather see R* try and do something about them before worrying about cheated ranks tbh.

Speaking as a legit lvl 157 player who has busted his arse since day 1 release of GTAO, I always make a point of reporting anyone over lvl 300, because I know that 99.9% of them are DNS hacked, especially when looking at their stats. It's a simple matter of principal, my crew mates and I have worked hard and put in over 10 days of playtime to "EARN" our rank in GTAO, if that hard earned rank does'nt mean anything... then it calls into question as to what the point is in even having level requirements in the first place.

 

I like to try and think of myself as a reasonable player... I always give the (friendly) honk, seldom grieve on antagonist's and try my best to protect newer players (under level 15) who join the lobby. I do this because I have access to everything in the arsenal, a 2.5 k/d ratio and given my legit level, have absolutely nothing to prove to anyone else...

 

Bottom line is im tired of these DNS lvl 1000 trolls, who shoot at me while backing up in their chrome badder's...When that happens, im more than happy to shove a RPG up their arse!

I'm yet to encounter anyone level 300 or more that is actually any good at the game.

But I do agree that they should punished. It's not fair that people have put lots of time into this game to get to whatever rank, only for some little c*nt with a level 500rp and less than a days play to be running around with Rpg's and mini guns

 

 

Resets will never happen. RP ranks don't affect R* profit margins or players' possibility of buying cash cards. In game money does.
