why do guns have scopes ?

i think a lot of people dont realize you can even do the zoom, its something i picked up late...

yup it increases zoom a little, kinda useful in free aim but it feels like it sets input lagg through the roof

It helps bring the target up on a larger scale. Magnification my friend.

 

If you know the guns intended range then having a scope for long range enounters is ideed helpful. I love it on my assault SMG.

Scopes are great and all, but at the same time quite pointless considering other players don't render on your screen when they're more than a block-or-so away.

Remember that 1st pic of Franklin with a laser scope. Rockstar lied and ripped us off.....again. I want my freakin' laser scope goddamnit!!!
