Cop Sirens for Personal Vehicles

I was looking around the topics and I could not seem to find a post like this, I am new to the GTA forums so I don't know if this is posted in the wrong area.

 

This is something I have wanted for a long time and the reason for me joining the forums, I mean seriously? Who doesn't want to pretend to be the police and go around arresting friends and blasting your sirens.

There could be different types of sirens, maybe tone, wave length, pitch in volume all varying. Cost could be around 10,000 to 75,000 (High prices so that you don't get everybody driving around trolling people)

 

The sirens I think should have the option to still make the sound but no visual sirens, for example it still makes the noise but there is no red and blue box on the top of your car.

 

I can see the flaws of this such has: Annoying players with sirens, might cause lag issues for some people, extra effort for R* when they could be concentrating on the heists or mansions (That I have heard so much about).

Or they could just let us store Police vehicles.

 

I'm pretty sure that if my Xbox can handle 4 cop cars, 2 FIB Grangers, and a Police Maverick chasing me, I'm pretty sure it can handle a PV with the wee-woos.

 

I never got any complaints when I had my police vehicles.

Even at $75,000 I can gurantee that by the end of the first week of online that the vast majority of people would have them on their car. Imagine if even just half of the lobby had sirens, it would be annoying as f*ck. I dont really like the idea to be honest, just leave the sirens for the emergency vehicles.

Then the solution is simple, reduce the range at which you hear the sirens by a significant distance.

 

Cap it at like 250 meters or something.

That would be an example of something that can't be storeable. We have to compromise somwhere. The fact of the matter is that the Riot barely fits in the garage and glitches like crazy while coming out.

 

It should be a Pegasus vehicle, though.

One thing I miss from GTA 4 is when you'd exit a police vehicle with the lights and sirens running, the sirens would stop but the lights would keep flashing. It was way more realistic and WAAAAAAY less annoying than getting out and having those sirens just keep blaring!

Not much of a cop role player but I'm down for ANY added customizations, or just being able to own cop cars.

 

I do agree with Sugarfreenos, the riot van should be a pegasus vehicle.

 

I really don't understand why they took PV cops cars out of the game. It was so fun to be chased by Players role playing as cops! To my knowledge cop cars worked fine going in and out of garages. Why limit what we can own if it isn't really hurting gameplay?

FIB vehicles, oh yeah.

 

It's much better to just have certain emergency vehicles storable rather than have the option to put sirens. As much as I want an FIB-issued Tailgater, it's going to be real annoying having a couple of peeps in #CHRADDRS with police sirens everywhere.

 

At least if they were kept to emergency vehicles, they have to drive non-#CHRADDRS.

I like the idea but it would be better if R* added sirens with light bar/and undercover police light(inside car) and the front police bumper for the buffalo including franklins buffalo, Steiner, Coquette, and the vacca.

Im pretty sure there are a select few police vehicles that still do this.

One of the blaine country police cruisers I think cut the sirens but leave on the lights.

I MAY be wrong, but I def remember finding one that did, and was sooooo happy. I just left it parked outside like a decorative lamp =P
