We'll be going out, but more to celebrate a year since my successful brain surgery than Valentine's day. Just going to dinner though, then roll a few blunts and play. I put my 2 televisions next to each other so that I can play with headphones and she can watch tv. Don't worry though I'll put my wiener in her a time or two

Its the one day of the year you can cherish your loved one and tell them how much they mean to you.

 

I hope that you were kidding about that, hard to tell online. You should tell them that every day, and prove it every day, not some hallmark holiday. It has worked for me for 9 years.

 

Haha of course im joking. I tell/show my wife and kids how much I love them everyday. V-day is an over-rated commercial excuse for spending $$$$ but it is a good excuse to be extra romantic and make your missus feel extra loved.

 

I thought so, good to see another person who is not brainwashed. If you show your significant other the attention they deserve through the year, they wont be mad that you dont do anything "special" on valentines day.. if they are mad on v-day, you need to step your game up and treat them right haha

"You're mad at me because I assumed you were being honest with me? I'm not exactly thrilled by that, love". This might have something to do with how long it took me to find a successful relationship. That said, it seems almost a universal behaviour, my partner has pulled a couple of major lies out of her hat to see how I'll react.. Mostly early in the relationship.

 

Edit: but yeah, if she says it means nothing make a token gesture. Protects you if its a test, isn't too much if she's being honest.

Screw that. I've been married 20 years. If they ever pull that sh*t that person is not for you. I taught all my kids that. If you ever lie to make someone feel guilt or give attention, you will destroy that relationship. And because I've been married 20 years see you in GTAO!

You buy her flowers, deliver them to her work, dress to the nines and take her out to a romantic dinner everyday? Really? No. You don't. The people I feel bad for on this thread are not the ones without a Valentine but the ones with a Valentine that obviously expect their men to drop their daily routines to spend every waking moment with them on a day that is just as insignificant as the rest.

 

My guy is allowed to and more than likely will play GTAO all day if he wants (I'll be joining in on the fun too, as I always do) because I saw him and spent time with him yesterday, and the day before, and the day before, and so on and so forth. Oh and guess what? I'll be spending time with him tomorrow too.

 

Women are so needy. I feel bad for any of you who actually have to commit and make plans on such a stupid holiday. Good luck with that.
