Are the DNS alterers off the hook for good?

I still see level 300s+ out there, perhaps some legit, but also saw a 948 today.

 

Are they off the hook for good? Will they not be banned ever anymore?

If they are, will it be a ban, a stat wipe, or a complete reset? Any info on the punishment?

I don't know. Seems like they'd be pretty easy to catch.

 

Over the last week, I've been called a hacker and a DNS glitcher by various children (the accusers were all about 13 by the sound of their voices).....and I'm only Level 134. Even got kicked from races and deathmatches for being a hacker

R* probably doesn't really care since nothing happens after 120 except a higher number, and it doesn't affect anyone.

 

Also they have to get all their skills up still.

There was a massive console ban on the 31th by R* on people who were using DNS.

 

But nothing will be reset except whatever they gained while using that DNS such as money and/or rank it'll be set back to there previous stats but not a full reset.

 

Each ban is difference first ban is for two weeks, second one is for a month and third one is a permaban

But we'll find out on Friday when all the people were console banned come back and tell us what happened with there account but they won't have a full reset

 

That invincibility glitch doesn't really affect the game play because they can't shoot while they are blinking so it doesn't benefit them other then not getting killed.

 

No cars won't be reset if they reset there cars they would have to reset EVERYBODY who has used a glitch to get a car which is a majority of the population

I don't think the health goes up after 120, even if you do see a pop-up. It's a glitch.

Relax. Rockstar are still 'taking an aim at cheaters'. They wanted this money gone so they can earn money, they handled it urgently. Ranks being high don't matter too much and these people should and will be getting banned. These people get on my nerves because I do missions with them, presuming they know what to do and they waste all the damn lives and leave me to handle pretty much the whole mission. Losers. They really show their skill. I like them in DM's though. They think I am one of them and I f*ck them all and they cry and quit the match because they can't play and will die so easily it's just lame. Once they fire all their rockets at the front of your cover, you have them.

 

 

I am certain these people will get banned, they do deserve it because they just carry on and keep taking the piss. They delay the progress as well. Without these c*nts we would probably have heists already. Rockstar did mention heists were delayed because of these spastic pricks so that's something to think about as well. It pisses me off because I don't see why I should be waiting because a few little dickheads can't play a game and ruin it for people who enjoy it and want to have new features to enjoy in it. My god, when you see it from my perspective you will understand that their parents should be beaten savagely and forced to raise their c*nt of a child with so strict morals that it's almost military. about a week ago i was in a DM and 4 of the players were lvl 1000. i said to myself good job rockstar. you did very well.

Basically, and honestly, he wanted to be 120 (he was 80 something) so he gave a friend of his (who I know) his PSN/Password and the friend did it for him on his PS3.

 

Would the DNS alterer be banned, or my friend? It was on my friends account, but not on his PS3.

 

ps; I never altered my level with a DNS.

If the bans are any consolation, it's that Rockstar are really looking at this and they will punish these players as they see fit.

Also note that the DNS kiddies bumping their ranks are too dumb to realise there's no real gain after level 120.

You could be right, though for anyone who is actually hacking/modding themselves and not following a YT guide or the like, there is only the slimmest of chances of getting a ban that sticks - for psn its as easy as using a quick SSL proxy, and for xbox its only a couple extra steps. So given that these people will never stop releasing glitches etc on YT vids/forums, I really don't see R* having much luck

Oh ok then. Though tbh, 12 year old or 40 year old, its not exactly a complicated process to use an ssl proxy, and if you can follow the instructions of the glitch itself, it should be no more difficult.

The console itself get's banned and the account.

 

If you know what you are doing you can get around the profile ban by using another console but as for your console both are banned that means if they make another account it doesn't matter the console itself are banned.

 

So there are a lot of POed people out there who share consoles and can't play because someone used a DNS getting there console banned R* got wise to the people just making new profiles but since your friend "friend" used who own console then your friend console wont be banned by his profile might while your friend "friend" could be console banned especally if he's used a DNS since R* patched it and he'll know pretty much right away if he was banned so if he's already been altered and not banned yet then he won't be but you're friend got lucky
