Buffalo Mk. II Just spawned Online

Can I also just point out (incase it hasn't already) that having a PV out of your garage before you do a SP to MP car glitch, does NOTHING.

You simply spawn the car in and your PV is just near you somewhere.

 

I've no idea where that bullsh*t came about where you have to no have no vehicles on the map.

 

Like for instance I was bringing cars over for my 2nd character, and to save time I was just taking them to LSC and putting on a track and insurance on them, and as soon as I was outside LSC I went straight back to SP to get another car.

 

All that happens is I appear where I originally did to get the car, but aswell as my PV on the map next to me, the new car I just glitched in appears too.

I really hope you are correct, OP. However, after spending the last hour and a half driving to and from the Cockatoo's parking lot trying to get a spawn, I have curbed my enthusiasm. The MK 2 is probably the car I want the most in MP, but it seems likely at this point that what OP found was an illegitimate copy of some type. Someday this car will spawn in MP...hopefully...

I see so many people posting about doing the SP to MP car glitch, is it some glitch that Rockstar doesn't give a crap about to look into or punish the people doing it? With the ban wave they've given lately, you'd think people would be reluctant to do any sort of glitch that nets money. I also read on some site where it was first reported that Rockstar is probably going to be banning these people..

 

Maybe there's something I don't know, but why is everyone so open about doing it and why's so many people on this forum doing it? It's a legit question..because if ROckstar doesn't care an it's some glitch that's looked past, I wanna know

The way I see it is, if you do it expect the harshest of consequences. If you can do that you can enjoy yourself, don't get into it expecting to get away with it because there really is no way of telling what rockstar will punish and what they will let slide.

 

 

Basically what I'm trying to say is, it's just a game lol. Enjoy and play however you want to play.

why be so worried. it is just a game. i have given away alot of buffalos and modded 4wheelers. if someone is nice and asks i almost always edit one and bring it it.

 

also think it helps the game, and can make for a good day for someone on gtao

Yep. It might disappear from the store after some time, but tons of people will get it since Rockstar mentioned that fact.

 

I'm keeping it and the Buffalo anyway. Roosevelt's my definite 1920 roleplay car and the Buffalo is because I have poor taste in sportscars.

I have 2, no need for a 3rd, but if it's true good find OP. They might have been added in a hotfix, but I do know the Mk2 and the Tailgater never spawn in SP. The only time I ever saw the Tailgater in SP, was the Devin Westin mission where you had to bring the Z-type to him. Maybe one other mission.

When you had to steal Jimmy's car in "Complications", There are exctly two Tailgaters near you, and Simeon is testing a Premier.

OP you are right. I wrote the thread about the SP -> MP glitch in the gameplay section. I came across it when Police Cruisers (Crown Victorias) Started spawning at police stations.

 

I don't know what caused it and after playing around a bit I figured out that if you can trick the game into thinking you're playing in single player, the cars from there will spawn. I've even managed to get an unmarked cruiser to spawn online under the strawberry metro 'loop'...

 

I think something similar to this has happened to you!

If you zoom in on the first picture, it's not the FC1988 registration plate, it's the standard 8 character San Andreas registration plate. OP is legit.

Could they have photoshopped it?

Plate resets if the car color is changed without adding a tracker or the could have had a random car in a character garage and replaced car models which keeps the random plate

 

This has been mentioned a few times. I'm pretty sure the plate only resets if it is a player's custom plate, not if it is an SP character's. My other character's Bodhi still says Betty 32 on it even though i've changed it's coloring multiple times.Other characters bodhis so it is tracked and insured right? If it is not tracked or insured it doesn't matter if it's franks or not. If it is in mp the plate will revert if the paint is changed. It happened many times. I brought mikes car and franks car in and changed the color b4 adding a tracker and it changes the plate. Also same with custom plates from the Dave editor. I spend all weekend playing and importing cars and there is nothing to lead me to believe that the MK II spawns in mp

Makes sense, I remember when I was car hunting I used to use the playstation store to reset sessions. You screw around enough times with that and find new session you could accidentally glitch and do exactly that. If that is the case though, it means you guys must have lucked out, since the Franklin doesn't spawn in sp either that means you would have to have been online and found the exact place that Franklin was in story mode to make it spawn there (Make sense? lol)

Worried? No. Questionng? Yes. I question because it's a game I paid to play and doing certain things can cause me to get banned from playing said game. I only asked, I didn't say you guys are bad for doing it or ruining the game, I just wanted to know why so many are doing it, even after the mass bannings. Not why they would WANT to do it but why so many are doing it because it leads me to believe that Rockstar just isnt going to take action like the LSC glitch (although I think some got banned when they made millions)

Probably because peeps think Buffalo MkII is rare and they have to have it just to tell people that "LOOK I HAVE A RARE CAR COOL HUH"

 

Which is why if it actually spawned in the game only a few will keep it. I'm keeping mine. How many 4-seater sports cars are there, huh?

I hardly believe a Buffalo Mk II spawns Online because it doesn't in SP.

 

But like Michael's Tailgater, why not ? The kind of rare car that only spawns parked somewhere, sometimes. It makes sense in theory. I just can't believe it until I see one myself.
