If the car is left for awhile it will lock. I Sp to MPd a car and went afk came back and had to break into the car, I then proceeded to get " You jacked my ride, Im gonna have you smoked" and a 9k bounty. If the car is left unattended with a player nearby it will not despawn and have regular civillian car properties. or a ISO modder could have it set to spawn there and hosted that lobby

I think this is bullsh*t. The reason is it being the way it is. I play on friends only sessions by myself a bit of the time and I have seen everything there is to see. This is something that I have never seen and I don't believe it would spawn like that either. It isn't exactly top of the range so the peds should be driving it too but I've never seen them do that either. It doesn't make sense that it would be this way either, when I read this post and saw the photos it was very dodgy and seemed to be a con from the way you presented it. You presented it as though you have the intention to get people wound up for amusement. This is what I think.

Edit: Sorry for the google searched meme. I thought it would be appropriate but didn't want to re-use the pawn stars one, because it isn't the same context. That's all.

How so? I presented it in the most direct, and detailed way I could so people would have all of the facts.

f*ck knows. I'm just messing about really. I have this car but I do like the fact that not everybody does. That adds to it's appeal because crying noobs will ask me to duplicate it and I say yeah and as they walk over to my car I gun them down and run them over rofl. But yeah, that's great fun.

What does your heart tell you?

Its BS to get people to think the MK II is now common to sell it for the Roosevelt

I am gonna try it in SP first to see if it is worth it.

It does seem like a lot of trouble to go through. Hope its true, then I won't have to worry about it getting taken away.

I saw 3 of them driving along before, one behind one another.

This was very early on, I haven't seen them since. I'm assuming that it was just a glitch, although, other people claimed to have seen them too.

They either spawn extremely rarely (that's why they are able to be stored), or something causes them to glitch spawn.

I would love this, but I seriously doubt it's true.

If R* did this they'd earn a lot of my lost respect back, but R* doesn't seem to like stuff like this.

Though, they did add the Canis Bodhi into SSA after you could only glitch it in, so it's not like this isn't possible.

Im skeptical too but I did notice a player driving around in what looked to be a stock one last night. I thought it was glitched in but found it bizzare it was stock.

Im in invite only at the moment and can't get a single car to spawn in that location.

Edit: scrap that, just got 2 Dubsta's to appear there

If you zoom in on the first picture, it's not the FC1988 registration plate, it's the standard 8 character San Andreas registration plate. OP is legit.

Could they have photoshopped it?

I've duped cars that left ghost cars behind. They're usually "dead", meaning they're there, but you can't interact with them. Once, I duped a car, the guy I duped it for drove away in it, and when I left my garage, a ghost car was there. And it was active. I happened to see it, and park it in my garage, but had anyone else been there, they could have grabbed it. I'd imagine that's what happened here. Someone brought it into the world (by whatever means) and left the car there (for whatever reason) without a tracker, or a ghost car was left behind...

I might want to try this.

Hey OP, what was your PV when you saw the Buffalo?

It was a Rapid GT convertible, but I wasn't actually in anything at the time. I was on foot as Trevor, then spawned in on foot.

This could be a very possible theory, but as I've said, this car was in a spawn point so I'm pretty sure that (the grey Buffalo at least) this was not a result of another player.

Could they have photoshopped it?Plate resets if the car color is changed without adding a tracker or the could have had a random car in a character garage and replaced car models which keeps the random plate

This has been mentioned a few times. I'm pretty sure the plate only resets if it is a player's custom plate, not if it is an SP character's. My other character's Bodhi still says Betty 32 on it even though i've changed it's coloring multiple times.

You can bring in a Buffalo MK2 with a random plate via the save editor.

There is NO way to prove the Buffalo MK2 spawns online unless someone is there to witness it.

OP sounds like an honest guy though, so I don't know. I'll believe it when I see it for myself.

Is this The Guy?

You in a public session? You know modders can change the cars that spawn in traffic? Was invited to a session where someone modded the franklin to spawn in traffic so we could run around and get our own. Since I think the op is telling the truth that is most likely the explanation, as far as legit spawn online? No.

Dont know the technical term so i just say mod lol

Good job to OP for the pics - looks like a legit find.

BUT, in order for this to be useful for everyone else, someone has to find steps to reliably reproduce this.

Or, someone used the sp/mp and timed out while loading and leaving the car in the session lol

After I took the pics tho I decided to drive around for a few minutes, and couldn't find any others. These were the only two I came across, so I'm not sure if that was the reason, although it very well could be. Honestly though I've never once encountered any of the .ISO modders or anything like that

So this is Xbox 360 then.

I'm now skeptical about this

I'll believe it if it spawns in traffic for PS3.

i think its true, i remember a thread awhile back with a buffalo in the same colour, only at the parking lot at the motel beside the sandy shores LSC

Of course R* would secretly start spawning the Buffalo Mk II which is possibly the most desired car not in MP. It's not like they could sell it to players in a vehicle dlc and even if they could R* would never take advantage of it's valued consumers in this way. OP could you remind me where you found the storable clean rebel and ratrod?
