We role-play, patrol and carry out assignments as closely to actual police operations as possible. From SWAT assisted prisoner transports, to special gang and narcotics task forces that clean the streets of Liberty City on pusher, dealer, shot-caller at a time. It is the mission of the Algonquin Metropolitan Police Department to safeguard the lives and property of the people we serve, to reduce the incidence and fear of crime, and to enhance public safety while working with the diverse communities to improve their quality of life. Detective Unit
An Elite Group of Detectives that work many different areas. Which can range from Drugs and Gangs, To Auto Theft Task Force.

Gang and Narcotics Division
The mission of Gang and Narcotics Division is to disrupt violent street gangs and the means by which they support their lifestyle, including the manufacture, transportation, sale and use of illicit drugs, and sales of firearms in the greater Algonquin area. Gang and Narcotics Division’s enforcement efforts also focus on street-level enforcement strategies to effect a reduction in Part I crimes, thereby resolving community problems and facilitating uniformed officer’s involvement.

Auto Theft Task Force
The Liberty City Police Department has joined with the Liberty County Sheriff's office to target auto burglaries and auto thefts. The focus of the multi-agency task force is to reduce auto burglaries and auto thefts through enforcement and public education. Auto burglaries and thefts cost all residents higher insurance premiums and in higher taxes for enforcement by local police departments. By focusing investigators specifically on this area, the plan is to reduce the number of auto burglaries and auto thefts and take the criminals that target automobiles off the street.

Joint Special Operations
Joint Special OPS is a group of both Officers and Deputy's on a Special Task Force that work together in a variety of different divisions.

SWAT responds upon the request of the Incident Commander (IC) to barricade/hostage episodes, and/or suicide intervention, as well as initiate service of high risk warrants for all Department entities.
