Who has the best house between these two guys eh? I prefer Franklins, got a nice patio, nice flat screen, and awesome bedroom.

Detective Phelps

I still prefer Michael's house. There's everything. Whisky, kale :p , and a bong, as well as a swimming pool and tennis court. :D

The house also looks better than Franklin's.

Franklin's house, it is simply too small. Same goes for Michael. I mean, I like the idea of Michael's mansion, but I don't like the execution. It is far too small to be believable. Not to mention the location of the mansion is horrid, the surroundings just kill the "vibe" of the place for me. Would've been much better suited further back, preferably in or close to the Tongva Hills.

I don't know why but I always find it difficult to find the exit to Franklin's house.

Maybe because his bedroom is downstairs.

That could confuse a stupid person...... :rol:

I'd have to agree with Raavi.

I also think Franklins house was in an odd location. It didn't feel like he was living in a turf or a gang type neighbourhood.

Michael's house, Franklin's house just feels straight up vacant.

I like Franklins house, however the way they executed it for a Storyline purpose was pretty weird... He is all alone. A 25 year old young hustler all alone. I dont know, for some reason I get a weird feeling with that. But his house is better than Michaels, even though Michael has more activities in the house.

PS: I still want to buy house for myself.

I prefer Franklin's hillside home. Decent bedroom and wardrobe, huge open lounge, kitchen, dinner area. Decent pool good spot for Chop to hang out. Only downside is the lack of garage space. But I'd prefer that house to Michael's

its because it wasn't supposed to feel like a gang turf location. When will people learn that Franklin is not a gangbanger anymore -_-

The only thing that's cool about Franklin's house is his pool, especially at night.

The house design is ugly. The inside is a little too big and spread out for my taste. and.. of course, the location is terrible. I preferred his house in the ghetto because it was near the beach, airport, helipad, garage and marina. After moving to the mansion you're completely across town from it all.

Michael's house is pretty cool. I like the design of it. I like the layout of the driveway. The backyard area with pool and tennis court is pretty cool too. Its in a slightly better location too. Its still far from those places of interest, but its right on the road that leads you nearly directly to the marina/helipad and beach area.

In all honesty, I like Trevor's trailer out in the desert. It just has a nice feel out there.

I hated the locations of both of them. Michael's was right next to a skyscraper and Franklin's was tucked up high in the hills, very hard to find.

However, I'll have to put my money on Franklin's house, mostly because everything looks neat and "new", not to mention that living in Florida, you get sick of seeing houses that look like Michael's on a regular basis.

Tough call, they are both pretty pimp.

Trevor's final safe house has to win it though. Filled with naked women and earns 5k a week with apparently no management needed whatsoever.

Michael's house, because it isn't a giant pain in the ass to get to.

f*cking hate Rockford hills, so many retardedly made roads and slopes. I'd blow it up if I could.

I prefer Michael's house over Franklin as it is a little bit more traditional and I like Michael's house layout better than Franklins.

You realize that if his house was up north everyone would complain that his house is too far from the city right?

I don't know what level designer genius they had working there who thought it would be a good idea to put Franklin's house tucked away in the labrynthian Vinewood hills in some really obscure spot. From a gameplay perspective it makes no sense that the apparently main character lives in the most difficult to get to safehouse. Honestly, if he had kept the forum drive safehouse as well as the Vinewood hills one it would have been ideal. On location alone Michael's house is superior, not to mention his Family making the place feel more alive.

The strip club is my favorite safehouse in this or any other GTA game.

If the locations were switched, I would go with Michael's house for sure.

Franklin's place doesn't feel very cozy, but I would appreciate the extra space and I like the modern design of certain things, like that fireplace.

But location is very important, and Vinewood Hills is way better than where Mike's house is.

I agree with that, but I hate having to slowly walk to the dressing area to get changed.

You're comparing apples and oranges.

Franklin's "house" is really an art deco styled bachelor pad (which basically sleeps 1-2 people) and comes complete with pool party patio and fully functional party bong.

Micheal's house is really a traditional family home in Spanish colonial theme. It was designed for a traditional family of 2.5 kids, the white picket fence, tennis court, house maid, and the missus. All it's missing is a dog or cat.

And no, that home in the hills doesn't really belong to Franklin. Last time I checked SP, it really belongs to Lester who allowed Franklin to stay there.....

Nope. Micheal house is more central to the action in the city. Close proximity to Vinewood entertainment movie theaters, LSC, golf and tennis courts, the Gentry playboy mansion, not to mention job/mission market access etc. etc. So basically, Micheal has better access jobs (mission markers). And all the benefits of city nightlife. If only SP had one that is.....

Yeah in terms of the game, Michael's house is best, but if I was choosing a place to live, I would rather be in Vinewood Hills.

I like both of them, but i don't like how many rooms in Franklins are locked and cannot be entered.

Well, you should fire rockets at his house then. ;)

I prefer Franklin's, but I like that there is more people at Michael's; his family, the maid and the gardener. Lamar should be chilling round Franklin's sometimes..

Idk..I like Franklin's house personally. It's quiet with the music turned off and it's peaceful, unlike Michaels. I always figured he's in such a bad mood bc his house isn't peaceful, so much noise constantly.

Plus the view from Franklin's mansion can't be beat, it's the best out of all of them. I don't mind being away from the city up there, even though he is diagonal from Michael's place.

He made Franklin the owner of the house, that was in a phone call between the two. Lester signed it over to Franklin.

Personally I think Michaels interior is ugly. Red rugs with pink? It doesn't match whatsoever. The chandelier that hangs down (the gold one) is beautiful. But personally I'm a fan of Franklin's place. It's peaceful, no people around to be annoying, and it's quiet.  The only sucky thing is that you can't use the hot tub and it's accessible, so I always make sure the other protagonist's are not on the property or in his house.
