woggleman
Those who don't use the carwash are those who suck at driving and their car is always damaged. No sense washing a damaged car. I, on the other hand, use the carwash farely often. I like to see how dirty I can get my car, driving on dirt roads and in the swampy areas, and you can actually get it pretty damn dirty. True but LSC does the same thing and you can repair your car as well.
TheGTAone
I don't use the Car Wash in GTA V for three reasons: Reason 1: I can take any car to Los Santos Customs and "repair" it to clean it. Reason 2: There's only two f*cking CarWashes in the map! (Not even in countryside!) I remember that in GTA IV there were like 5 or 6 carwashes. Reason 3: The cars don't get dirty as fast they did on GTA IV. Edited February 13, 2014 by TheGTAone
beanzinapot
I use it all the time in SP, but I've stopped using it while online. When online first started, I would stop at a car wash and take a few pics after getting it washed.(something I like to do IRL.) But after a few weeks of playing online, I would either get sniped, or blown up by a tank while taking the pic.
WorldWideFM
Nah I don't think I've ever actually used it, and I only ever used it in IV for that mission that Vlad gives you.
wiizardii
funny thing, they gave the Carwash but not realising that you can repair it clean, and cars dont even get dirty, but they wont give a Cluckin Bell or A burger shot, or a returning PERSEUS... Shane_Dbns
In Iv, I used to take my turismo to the car wash every sunday (in-game). I really loved that car and made sure it was clean and tidy. In V, I've only used it once for 100%
Detective Phelps
In Iv, I used to take my turismo to the car wash every sunday (in-game). I really loved that car and made sure it was clean and tidy. In V, I've only used it once for 100% I also like the turismo. A grand shame that the car isn't in V. But hey, at least there is the carbonizzare. My carbonizzare goes to LSC for a quick, free car wash.

DaRkL3AD3R
All the time. If you're only driving around the city then your car stays clean for a longer duration. But as soon as you go off into the mountains and especially to Sandy Shores, dust and dirt cover all cars fast. Then I race back down to Los Santos because ya know... there's only 2 car washes in the entirety of San Andreas and they happen to be like one block from each other... 018361
chrisscorsese88
I'll randomly use it from time to time but only when I decide to "roleplay". Other than that, no.

Strange Town
The only time I used a carwash was to see if it could remove the dirt from the dirted Rebel. 15 dollars thrown in the drain along with the water used to "wash" it.
SingularSoul
Yes. As I mentioned in the OCD thread I can't stand driving dirty cars. It's the same case with GTA IV also. This. Also, as a roleplayer, I feel obliged to use it once an in-game week.

5.7
I use it, as an activity after a game of golf or darts. Go wash my car or if I get scratches the car wash if you let it do the scene of washing and wait for the -$15 to go away, it removes the scratches. I'm sure if your cars wrecked it makes it all look good but keeps the damaged look, dents, missing boot, etc. I'm not 100% if it does but as for scratched/dirty cars the car wash fixes them up if you don't cutscene. gmcb007
I would use it more if R* had placed some out at Paleto Bay or other rural areas. It's harder to dirty up a car on LS tarmac compared to the dirt tracks of Blaine County. 018361

BLOOD
I am sure the Next-Gen rendition of the Turismo would be EXOTIC.i think Rockstar are reserving it for next-Gen GTA(s) btw what GTA Car Manufacturer make it? OP:I think the Car Wash is great when you have a dirty Old car.I hope the series' Legendary Pay n Spray returns in future (dont get me wrong LSC is Great)
RyanBurnsRed
I've never used it because whenever I take a car it's usually just temporary. I've never used it in Online either because it either gets banged up and I go to my garage or LSC, I go on a job and it's fixed and clean when I come back, or it gets destroyed by some tool and I have to reclaim it from the insurance and it's brand new. 018361
Rarely because there is no car/truck wash in the desert where I usually hang around at. It's a shame that there was no truck wash in the countryside. I would have loved to wash my phantom truck and trailer. It is hardly worth it to go to the car wash when I can play as Franklin and repair/clean my car for free. Don't get me wrong, it's a great feature, but it could be more practical. I like how my car doesn't get constantly dirty like in GTA IV though as well. I don't know how they could make the wash's be more practical than to add more of them around the map and if they could add a truck wash for the larger vehicles. I can imagine it now, a crew of people crawling all over my truck to wash it. Some guys are on the ladder cleaning the upper part, the shortest person is stuck cleaning the rims and lower section of the truck and trailer, there is someone using the spray-hose and foam wand/brush. im_stoned
I used it once. You've gotta understand I take the phrase '' drive it like you stole it'' to a whole new level.I do steal the car's and I drive them in a way that reflects that. I run over peds,Knock down streetlights, Crash into cars, Speed, Drive on the wrong side of the road, and this when i'm just cruising the streets with no wanted level. I commit acts of terrorism when i'm trying to escape the police in a stolen car no ones safe no one ! My point is I destroy cars within a few minutes and when that happens I steal another car so I have no need for a car wash why would I pay to wash some else's car I plan on totalling in the truest sense of the word Edited February 15, 2014 by im_stoned

RatchetAZ
I use the carwash sometimes mainly when I come back from the desert after racing around in my 4 wheelers they're always dirty and covered in mud and sometimes blood from the accidental hits of deer's. But I do use it if I happen to pass one and if I need to use it.

MitchMaljers
Yes, I use it fairly often, mostly after cruising around the whole map your car tends to be pretty dirty.. Then taking it to a car wash without damage is nice in my opinion.
