What's the Nicest Thing YOU have done online?

I have to ask because today I did my nicest thing and I felt good about it even though I was left out of pocket for it.

 

 

SO, today, I boot up and land in a mainly French server. I decided to hang around because it was busy and I found some of the shenanigans quite amusing.

 

I was driving along on my own and I found my 1st Sultan since finding my own and since I had a million in the bank, I decided to mod it to the max including pearlescent Matt paint... and give it away.

 

The way I decided who was going to get it was by sending the same random message to everyone in the room and see who replies.

 

The message was: Free Hug, bend over first.

 

Due to the high amount of french players, I only got one reply which said "Sorry, French. No English"

 

So, I decided to use Google translate on my phone to translate what I said into french words which I could type into messages on the GTA phone and when he replied, I used the camera translate function to understand him.

 

When he arrived at my meet point, the guy ended up only been a level 9 and didn't even have a good starter car (izzi) so I felt really good.

 

He insured it, added me as a friend and then we did enough missions and races to come out with 90k before my wife kicked me off so she could watch her soaps lol.

 

So, I'm still a couple of hundred thousand out of pocket, but I felt good doing it.

When I was a billionaire, I gave this level 10 kid the chance to drive my custom-made Cheetah, he was so excited for it, he droved it for like 15 minutes, little did he know I put a sticky bomb in the bottom. I killed afterwards, but other than it was the nicest thing I ever did.

I got a guy away from 4 bounty hunters in my Adder. He was on the roof sniping at people trying to climb up the ladder, I think his bounty was $9,000. I sent him a text, "Need a lift?" He said, "Yeah. Dont shoot bro."

So I went into an alley and he literally hopped on top of my car, got in, and we sped away. Luckily I had bullet proof tires, because these guys were firing tons of SMG ammo at us. We got to Eclipse Apartments and he hopped into his apartment and into safety.

when i was rich I used to do that for my buddy who managed to get skipped on being gifted money, now that im poor i have only done it once and it wasnt a full mod job, just a few things to get him started

I entered a lobby one time, there was a young fellow (only about a level 7 or 8 as well) on the mic at the time complaining about this group of like 4 players that were ganging up on him and killing him repeatedly.

 

I had nothing else to do so I aquired my Rhino and went to his rescue. Turns out they were all riding around together in the same Sultan. Easy quad for me. One of them had a 5k bounty in which I gave 90% of to the noob that I was helping.

 

I proceeded to kill the other guys about 2 or 3 more times each before I got bored. I think they got the point though.

I used to be a nice person. I used to let people in my car. I used to not just randomly kill people. Used to help people with bounties.

Then, it dawned on me that... y'know, GTA:O's community is filled of annoying gun happy assholes, so now I run people over, I randomly kill people if they get too close, and now I chase down bounties hard.

It's like an infection maaaaaaaan. The asshole infection, maaaaaaan. It got me.

I let a LVL4 get in my car and took him to my garage and let him try all my cars... entity, adder, 007, sultan etc. then showed him around my pad. he had just joined and was wondering what you can get as you progress. We messed around for an hour then he had to go. He is a LVL 46 now and in my crew, we meet up from time to time. A solid bro and all round good playa.

Yeah, I've done that repeatedly. Sometimes it doesn't work out according to plan. Instead people see me as a threat, kill me, and steal my car.
