Big trouble with missions/gang attacks.

Okay so I log in today as normal, go to friends only session everything is fine. I go past a gang attack which I have done (I have done them all.) and it doesn't have a tick in the red circle. Weird right? Yeah it gets weirder.

 

I am getting missions from the usual suspects like Martin, Lester and the other nerds but they don't contain descriptions. Just the player count and the title. What's even weirder is that Martin offered me 'Dish the dirt' which we all know is a job Gerald offers.

 

Guys, what the f*ck is up with that? ANybody know what the problem is?

May be issues with cloud server There have been reports previously and I have seen missions myself that have not made it into the final cut or have done but with a name change. Its likely that this is disc based content.

Nah I just checked by leaving the server I was in and rejoining. On the brighter side I already had an armoured truck and leaving and re-entering gave me another one however, a new mission came through with the wrong guy sending it again, These are missions I have done, they are just not sent by the right person. So Martin is sending me Gerald jobs and visa verse. Stupid.

Well I just completed 'Bust out' to test it and the prison van wasn't moving until I drove up and shot the driver, it moved as I aimed the gun at him. The rest of the mission worked fine. Here's where it gets weird. When I finished to the voting screen, no option to like or dislike, just continue. Then the next choice voting screen has no images for the missions, just the names and where it says 'Created by' instead of 'Rockstar' or 'Rockstar verified' it says 'Created by: 4242323232324' just a lot of numbers.

 

What the f*ck is up with this game? Seriously. Gonna try a console reboot right now and I'll let you know. I appreciate you helping me though mate, thank you.

 

 

Right the console reboot sorted it out. So if anybody gets this problem in the future, just shut down your console and boot it back up again and voila.

I have had it come up before where the Mission screenshots are missing from the voting screen and it has just been replaced with the R* symbol but never noticed the created by bit being different. I know that sometimes when that is the case (R* Symbols) you cannot select Refresh until 30 seconds have passed. Been noticing it a lot more recently though.
