Do you guys run over players or just kick from missions?

Sabotaging a mission is fun when you get people who don't help each other and/or abandon their team-mates at the spawn point.

I kick some people from RR when I want to play with my friends. JUST BECAUSE MY MATCHMAKING IS ON DOESN'T MEAN I WANT RANDOM PLAYERS TO JOIN. I also kick 10 year olds with big mouths on the mic and people with their tv volume on 100+.

I would kick but R* made us have to vote to kick which is dumb even if tour the host so if they don't contribute within a certain amount of time they will be watching from the sidelines.

Turn matchmaking off then.

usually set up a a custom DM and spam invites out to the session and the crew. get everyone in and get a full 16. at the last moment, switch it to night time, raining and 60 minutes no kill limit rules. start the DM, then get out thru the hidden stairwell and grab the mini then get up to the platform overlooking the "arena" and fire away. even get the rubber band and fork that was used in the kifflom 5 mile walk and go take a break but make sure the mini is aimed right. make something to eat, catch up on email and texts, check UPS status, etc.......

._.

I always wait a minute if they are AFK, if they don't move I'll just run them over and leave the mission, so they are left with 0 lives

I used to host RR and just hide behind the blue container. I noticed the hosts of RRs I had joined would do the same, so I figured why the hell not?

>Host RR for lower levels

>Have lower levels do the mission

>Check GTA forums/whatever in meantime

>Rinse, Repeat, & Profit.

I mean, I am hosting it and not kicking out the lower levels. Only thing that grinds my gears is when a griefer joins, or someone who plays with the package.

When it comes to AFK people, I run into them slowly and if they don't react to being gently hit, they aren't waiting for a helicopter or anything, they're clearly just soaking up RP and cash. These I run over and if its just me and him, I'll kill myself and just jump into another random mission. No one gets a free ride.

They always reveal themselves by being magically back as soon as the voting screen pops up, funny that.

did it ever come to mind they might be taking a piss or getting some to eat/drank

I usually run them over and then vote to kick, assuming you're talking about contact missions, if they want to go AFC in a deathmatch I'll take the free kill.

Revenge of the Donut

If you run people over then you waste team lives like a dick, so I vote kick or just ignore them, as long as they don't get in my way or grief teammates I don't care wether they're camping or not. Only time I'm bothered by campers or whatever is when I literally need them to complete/Progress in a mission and they don't do what they should be doing, however usually they just f*** everything up anyway though so if anything it's better for them to stay out of my face.

Yes it does DB, WTF do you think it means, lets hope everyone reports you for griefing !

If they idle in a mission, I'll run them over and then wait at the end of the mission until they leave.

Did this to two guys (2/3 of the mission party) who thought it would be a good idea to idle on a mission worth $1500.

Well, they got nothing for their "efforts".

I do both if they are griefing. The best part is after you've run them over and they are spectating. Then if I'm the last player I'll drive right to the end of the mission, but not complete it. Then I'll get out of my car, jump up on the roof and start doing the jerk it, finger or dock animations. Then I'll message another player in the game to vote kick said player and then message the player after and ask him how he enjoyed the kick.

Afk'ers just get a kick. Don't want to spend a team death by running them over.

I had a guy run me over in Base Invaders as I was going to my car and he was going to Ron's plane. He took off in the plane with 2 others, I called Pegasus for a Cargo bob and then dropped his ride in the Alamo Sea. Nice XF he probably broke even on the mission.

You don't have to pay the insurance when using the Cargo Bob to drop them in the water?

Nope, I like to use it sometimes and go to the car impound and pick up some cars and drop em in the ocean to mess with people.

lol I do the same thing.

why kick? they may be calling Pegasus for a buzzard which is why they're motionless

Well usually if I'm calling my Mechanic or Pegasus or Merryweather (for a Maverick), I still walk around at least to let my teammates know that I'm not afk. You don't have to stand completely still while calling one of your contacts. I'll also pull out a gun and blink my flashlight at them to signal that I'm not an afk'er and that I'm waiting for a vehicle. Sometimes this is when you really find out who the griefers are too. And this is when you plot your revenge for getting even and not mad ;)

I kick players from missions only when they are being total dicks and grieving, his is rare as no one else seems to bother in assisting the kick so I don't usually do it. I don't really ever run people over if they are afk, especially if its a hard mission as they could have gone to get a drink quickly before the missions starts or something as I've done his before.

However one time in RR we had to restart the mission because some idiot thought it would be a good idea to minigun the car with the documents in, so immediately after we spawned for the restart I ran him down.

Who the f*ck cares if someone's not doing anything? Meatshields are great :D

Plus majority of the time I do most of the work anyways(Randoms are very, very uncoordinated) so they more or less take a back seat.

More players does make a mission go faster but more importantly(And the reason I don't care what they do, long as they don't cause us to fail) they ensure more RP per mission completed, especially if they're in your crew.

More RP for me :D

I do whatever I can to mess with players AFC during a mission. If you have to piss or want to eat, don't join a mission, or wait until it's over. Always wait a bit to see if they're calling for a helicopter, if not, run them over once. Then pour gas on their car and blow it up with my exhaust. Then run them over again. Then vote to kick.

They get killed twice, have to pay insurance, AND get nothing for the mission. Super rare that that actually works though. Usually nobody else votes to kick.

You must feel pretty cool after you go through all that trouble instead of just beating the mission.

I'd like to sticky bomb them, then almost complete the mission and trigger the sticky. I'm pretty sure you can't actually do that though, unfortunately!

No you can't sticky unless it's on the ground I believe. Grenades work though. If they are afk just chuck a grenade at their car. You'll have to pay insurance though, but it will give the AFK'er a minor inconvenience. Or if they were dumb enough not to put insurance on the car to begin with :D
