Beach Bum Pack basically had a van I liked and some t-shirts I thought were cool (although they are glitched with jackets ), but I didn't really care about the rest that much.

It looks like Valentines Day Massacre pack has some suits I'm going to love, but the vehicle and tommy gun are just novelties to me and I don't really care about them.

With that being said, I think they have a pretty good system in place. Between vehicles, clothes and weapons, it's going to be hard to come up with a free pack that doesn't have something someone will enjoy.

 

It gives me hope that those of us who have been asking for a biker pack will get it one day, because even if you don't like biker outfits, there could be a new bike or weapon you will enjoy.

I just want an outlaw MC pack. With leather, and denim cuts and gloves, beards, haircuts, tattoos, flannel shirts, more bikes, snub nosed shotguns.. y'know. But no more boots, we have enough boots lmao

 

 

But the V-Day DLC car and gun look awesome. I'm not much of a suit guy.

I agree that more of this content is of interest to me than the Beach Bum pack but that Bifta is not something to overlook, nothing beats it in off-road races. That Tommy Gun and Roosevelt on the other hand look badass and I've been waiting for decent suits for a while now (don't know why this mismatched mess we have now was ever seen as sufficient). I'm still left wondering when the f*ck heists are coming out (they could at least let us know what their progress/eta is, leaving us waiting in the dark is just rude), but I'll take what I can get and it's nice to see more worthwhile content is being added.

 

As nice as this Roosevelt looks though, why only one car and weapon? I think this is really a mini DLC, not even as big as the beach bum pack and not as big as the stuff they've got coming soon like the Dangerous Business DLC and the other stuff they've got in the works.

 

It's definitely mini DLC. But you can't blame them, when they are trying to fix all the bugs and exploits (which is people stopped exploiting we would have our DLC's faster.) there isn't much manpower left to envision, design, create, test and release a new DLC, especially one as big as heists.

 

 

Yes, I am also excited about the new clothing options. However, I still want the god damn gas mask that's already in the mother ****ing GTA V game! That mask is amazing! Just add it in, damn you!

Ahem. Really though. They might as well throw in the rest of the GTA V cloths since they've already designed them and coded them. I can't imagine it would take much time at all to add them in.

 

Gas masks are still the number one thing I want in this game.

 

 

Praise the Lord, the game is saved...we can wear suits and undergarments from almost 100 years ago.

Surely no one will be bored the next day.

 

There has been no turn around or change in direction. Rockstar has been consistently working, providing content and improving our experience. The "turnaround" has been with this ADD afflicted community that has no patience and expects a huge DLC every week and a 24/7 blog with a dev answering every possible question one could ask. One bit of info and its a f*cking cum festival but two days of silence and you get a pitchfork militia.

 

There has been a change in direction. When GTA was released, their main priority was fixing the servers and getting them running. Then once that was settled, they started fixing the few exploits that turning into a f*ckload of exploits. Now they are targeting the hackers and cheaters. There has been many changes in direction that have caused many "issues" with the DLC's and their release dates. If you disagree then you are a fool who knows nothing of the video game industry.

Worthless was probably not the best word. However the pistol and the bottle I have used maybe once or twice. With the tommy gun, now I at least have a usable weapon in DM's. The vehicles in the BB pack were the best part about it, and personally I didn't like them (Still a great addition though.) As far as clothes, I never found any that I personally liked, but they did add quite a number of clothes (although they were mainly all just a different retexture of the same model. So I consider it a "worthless" DLC because there isn't an aspect to that DLC that I still use. At least with the Vday DLC, I can use the tommy gun (and will continue to use it) and the car is (from what I heard) an 8 player vehicle which means that I will take that over my Granger any day. The suits will also always have a plae for me when me and my friends get dressed up and do sh*t on GTA.

Agreed.

 

One thing I wondered though is why R* aren't adding new clothes, accessories and hairstyles a little more efficiently.

 

Somehow using the small fill in DLC (could be for free and some with a price tag, depending on content) to lead up to the bigger packs and online content they're going to need some time on. Might be what they are doing now, but the timing of when the content drops is way off.

 

That way they don't look crazy, and have to shoot the word (BETA) around anywhere, and people don't start "timing out" of sessions MANUALLY.
