SingularSoul
Great thread! Glad to see I have in common a similar style of play with other fellow GTA gamers. Anyhow: - I never kill peds (only if they make an open attack on me or insults and attack's Trevor after I insulted them back) inside or outside the missions. Only people that are required or gangs if they attack or insult. Civilians are extra save in my world. - Can't live (play) without cinematic camera. - I don't drive slow and obey traffic lights, but I like to follow the road, drive inside my track beetwen two lines all the time and drive normal or fastes as possible without crashing (not on the curb, a side of the road, grass ect). - Don't like to hit any other vehicles while I'm driving or crash into anything (I just need to load the game if I do). I'm always extra focused, when it comes to gunfights or driving with cinematic camera turned on most of the time. - Never smoke weed with Michael. It just does not fit his personalty in my eye. - Like to play with close player camera (to notice every detail while on foot), second close or first person (during Police chases to get that movie feel) for cars, and first person for all air vehicles. All of the above. Plus I change my character's clothing based on time and weather conditions. I also cannot stand a dirty/damaged car. Oh, and my biggest issue; BULLET WOUNDS. I genuinely reload the game if I get shot, or have bruises etc. Man, I have mega-OCD. Edited February 14, 2014 by SingularSoul
Captain Arthur
Another thing I gotta do when I'm playing through the story, is change the characters' facial hair from time to time. For example, At the beginning of the game, Mike would have a clean shave but, after, say, Did Somebody Say Yoga?, I would give him a short stubble. Soon, after a few missions, I would give him a long stubble. And then, after Trevor kidnaps Martin's wife and they head to the desert, I would give him a long beard. The same goes for the other 2. Strength
Me too. I change facials to stubble every week or two, long beards after every month or so, by the end of the game all three characters are overgrown with beards and longer (long) hair, except Michael, I make him DeNiro style for the last heist that is similar to movie Heat (which is my all time favorite crime movie), but before the Meltdown premier and Family Reunited he keeps this look: Trevor: Franklin (add here Full Van Dyke) After the last mission, I make them all bald and without facials and keep that look for a month or so. Also I only buy a few types of clothing for each character that I like. I am not a shopping maniac, but I like to pick similar stuff that all three characters already own and like, which I like too. Concerning guns, give me a sticky bombs, granades, AP Pistol, Beretta 92FS and Carbine Rifle and the game is mine. I hate that you can't drop the weapons at your own will. A simple throwing animation and discard button would be superb. Edited February 14, 2014 by Strength Captain Arthur

just-a-spaz
I don't like how sometimes it takes forever for the full geometry of a vehicle to load. If there are a lot of cars around, the polygons on the car look low until you attempt to enter the car. If you didn't notice this before... well... you're welcome! Hodgey.
A couple of other things I have been doing lately is: Each protag has his own weapon colour: Michael - Platinum, Franklin - Green, Trevor - Army Each protag has his own melee weapon he uses: Michael - Knife, Franklin - Baseball Bat, Trevor - Hammer
Niobium
-I enjoy killing police officers and gangsters, but I feel bad when I run over civilians because of my terrible driving -I never steal a car except when: A) cops are chasing me B) I play as Trevor C) the car belongs to a cop or gangster
The Mysterious One
For years now, when playing a GTA game in general, I never shoot civilians (Of course, if I play Vice City, when doing "Messing with the Man," I make an exception). In this game, when playing as Michael, I prefer doing the missions involving his family a little soon before anything else happens. Sure, they are around for the Jewel Store Job, but when they leave him, I feel that is the right time for him to have freedom to do all these crazy jobs. I also do "The Wrap Up" before "Reuniting The Family," as that is the last dangerous mission he has to endure before other ones. Remember, "The Big Score" and "The Third Way" happen and then his family is back in the picture. Also, I feel that it's necessary to do the other things like the Epsilon missions before the big exile happens. I also feel that certain properties can match the characters and I buy them for each of them: Michael: The movie theaters and the golf course. Franklin: The tow yard, Smoke on the Water, Downtown Cab Co., Los Santos Customs in the desert, maybe the scrap yard. Trevor: All the clubs/bars, maybe the scrap yard, the airfield, the marina. As for Hookies, I try to decide between Michael or Franklin to own that bar/grill, but it would only seem that between the two, I often have Michael buy it, though Franklin has the driving special ability, and that is good for those missions where you have to go pick up a supply of alcohol. SuperGTFan
1. Always kill the scooter brother. 2. When either Rich Man's Plaything or A Haze of Patriotic Fervor start playing in a wanted level, I always turn the weather into Thundary Rain. 3. Always finish the campaign with the B ending. ~Tiger~
Well it is nice to see this topic again...PF will be pleased! My obsession is that when I go for a cruise on the Freeway, I always travel in an anti-clockwise manner. So from Paleto I would always drive down to LS through Chumash. To go the other way would be unthinkable. Plus, I still cannot stand broken headlights. Gnocchi Flip Flops
My car must never be damaged, not even scratched. I'll use the health cheat constantly to keep it spick and span. Always wash the car before taking photos of it. Whenever a new vehicle comes out, always take it up to Paleto via the freeway and then back down to Los Santos. This is the best way to test drive a new car. Edited July 29, 2015 by Scaglietti TOOMtheRaccoon

S1N0D3UTSCHT3K
i've re-done missions dozens of times just to get the right random clothing, NPCs spawning, random dialogue, time of day and weather, even the right 'gameplay' with perfect kills, no hurt civilians, perfect driving, etc.... ocd is a sort of 'directors' sense but still very very ocd hahaha oh and i've never died if i die, i reload my last save. did this for both my main PS3 and PS4 games craaaaaazy high K/D haha

S1N0D3UTSCHT3K
^haha i've done the opposite re-did missions precisely because there was not enough blood on the clothes... (or too much, too) if M was supposed to have been lounging at home, I make sure his clothes are clean... no blood but also maybe make sure he has back sweat if his wife left him, I give him some beard scrub... during exile, lots of beard scruff but also, i'll purposely re-do certain missions like Mr Philips, The Long Stretch, Fresh Meat to make sure the character is very very bloody at the end

AzelfandQuilava
- On Last Gen, I installed most of the DLCs onto a USB so I wouldn't have the new weapons in Singleplayer. - I always try and get rid of the MGs for Michael and Franklin, since I use the hangout feature a lot and it looks dumb when we all have big ass LMGs. - Franklin usually ends up with Sapphire's number for some reason, I think that youtube video with her got to me... - I always help the Police in the random encounters, especially the shootout one. (though I still get away with the cash).
Algonquin Assassin
Well it is nice to see this topic again...PF will be pleased! Brings back some memories that's for sure. I guess I have some new ones now. -I always do Michael's shrink encounters when they're first unlocked. -Like every other GTA not having full health/armour annoys me. -I have to have Packie as part of my crew before the first heist. ~Tiger~ and CynicalRise

Nah nah nah Gta 6
When I used to play on PS3, I f*cking hated having all the DLC weapons at the start, even worse is that they have no ammo. I also leave Micheal without ANY weapons whatsoever, to make him more realistic. I always have guns coloured the same way as the protagonists colour, for example, every gun I own on Trevor is tinted orange, while every gun on Franklin is tinted green. Shadowfennekin
Always get Packie before we hit the jewelry store and use him. Always bring Chef on the Paleto Score ALWAYS blow up the Merryweather boat Pick C each and every time I never spare people. Even the girls on the random events that lure you into the trap. Everyone dies, especially the therapist. I never have Trevor go to LS before he moves in with Floyd I do the Rampages in order, do the first once I unlock Trevor do the next two when he's in LS, do the army one while in exile, and kill hipsters when he returns to LS. I get all the S/F missions done as they unlock Always park my cars neatly except when I'm robbing a 24/7 Only kill cops as Trevor Can't kill gang members as Michael except in self defense or that random event involving the Lost
