Captain Arthur
Screw YOLO, YODO for the win! I still remember when YOLO used to be a spelling mistake for Yellow by kids at kindergarden. Edited February 14, 2014 by Gta_V_Fan_101
Johnny Spaz
I hate the word "lame", it's so lame. Not sure if it counts but "haters gonna hate". Ratchet, used to be the name of a video game character, now it's a synonym of ghetto. "dat" "twerk" "derp" "sup" and "foo".
epoxi
Epic. Not because I hate the word itself, but it has been so worn out and abused. Epic used to mean something, it would be reserved for voice-overs of hit movie trailers or some spectacle that was so special that when you tried to describe it no other word would suffice. Now even when I witness something that truly is epic, I still refrain from calling it so because it no longer conveys exactly what I mean, and for fear I'd look like one of those people who would, for instance, describe getting on the bus and having the exact change as "epic." Trinette
I hate the word "Abstract" now because of the way people use it. I know people who are starting to get into using bigger words and one in particular describes EVERYTHING that is deeply thought out or thought provoking as "abstract" and it's just ridiculous. I can't even keep count of how many times this person has used abstract to describe the most typical of situations or things with an ever so slightly added twist to it. sometimes. you look very strange. somewhat smiling. a little vain. saying not today. Finn 7 five 11
Crouton. It kind of sounds like an insult (like you're a f*cking crouton) but it's actually a piece of bread. Anyone ever thought of that? I am so going to use that from now on haha. The insult is going to get big. I don't particularly like the word "clench". I couldn't really tell you why. It just sounds like something I'd associate with constipation I guess. Not so pleasant. Also, I learned today in a bio lecture that I don't like the word "masticate". It just sounds like it means something so much dirtier than what it actually is. I associate clench with Vagina's generally. As for Masticate, haha, we used to always use that word in hilarious context at high school when other kids didn't know what it meant haha. I remember specifically one kid who was new to our group and we bagged out all the time didn't pick up on the 'C'. We were all like: "Are you serious dude? You don't masticate with your family?" Him: "Ewww no, what the f*ck is wrong with you guys." Us: "Nothing man, what's wrong with masticating? I Masticate at school all the time too, it's pretty great, feels good, kills your appetite" Haha we would all just keep saying it and making him look like the odd one out, he was confused as f*ck haha. Meme. It's never used correctly, it's never said correctly, and it's always used in annoying context. I would say 'Meme' is used correctly 90% of the time, in the right context and pronounced correctly, I dunno what you're on about. Perhaps you're confusing that with 'irony' N***er Retard Fa**ot I'm not sure what's specifically wrong with those words. Especially since without a racist or homophobic context, they're fine. It's the racist/homophobic dude using them we gotta be worried about. OT: I hate the word "Chevrolet". They make good cars, but I never liked their name, especially how you pronounce it. "Chef-ruh-lay" This isn't about offensive words though, he probably just doesn't like the way they sound, "fa**ot" especially is a very distasteful word, it doesn't matter what context it is in or what it's signifying at the time, it is simply an ugly word, retard doesn't particularly sound nice either. Yeah, I just say "Chevy". As for my own words: - fa**ot: No matter the context, very cringe-worthy. - Root/ing: As in having sex with someone, it's just vulgar. - Vulgar: It sounds like what it describes and it makes me cringe. - Vagina/Pussy: Don't like either of those, I think VajayJay is good. - Urine: I don't like it haha, I prefer piss/pee/whiz I really enjoy the words Debauchery and Obscurity though. Crazyeighties
I dislike the term suffer. I don't really know why. I think it's because it is overused a lot. People have problems, but I wouldn't call them suffering.I agree it's overused. It really depends on what people are suffering with. I have friends that I made while spending time in the hospital for cancer and other treatments, that is suffering. When people bitch and moan about having the common cold it annoys the sh*t out of me. A word that I hate is every word that puts others down. . universetwisters
White people using the word "Nigga" The whole "black people can say it but other people can't" thing is really getting on my nerves. What's confusing me more is if people who are half black (black father/mother) can say it. Are they entitled to the full use of the word, or can they say only half of it?
