Failing missions

So if you fail a mission and choose not to replay does that mission ever pop up again? I failed out of harmony and wanted to wait for more friends to do the mission with but I can't seem to get it to pop again. Am I just out of luck or is there a way to find a specific mission?

If you wait around for the phone call or even select request job if you wait long enough after the tone you will be selected with the option to request a job from that contact and if they call you back without you ever having to dial them again just long enough without signing out then that mission will be gone there is nothing you can do about it.

That sucks I signed out already so I guess I lost that mission. And that job was from trevor and I don't even have him as a contact.

OT: You'll see the job pop up again sooner or later. Just keep calling whoever it is that gives you that job and you'll get it after a while. Just be patient. You certainly haven't lost the ability to do this job in the future.

 

EDIT: I just noticed that you got the job from Trevor, yet you don't yet have Trevor as a contact. That being the case, you'll most likely be unable to get that job until you gain the ability to contact Trevor. Until then, the only way you'll get that mission is if someone who has already unlocked it invites you to join in.

Well that's good to know that it doesn't just disappear. Now to play the waiting game maybe next mission from trevor will give me him as a contact. Thanks a million.

I had this problem with Out of Harmony too mate.Trevor just never contacted me.. I ended up doing some of Rons older missions and got it. It will come eventually. Probably the hardest mission in the game to do solo but i got it

My mistake. Good point: Ron gives missions on behalf of Trevor (or at least, on behalf of Trevor Phillips Enterprises).

 

OP: See if you can contact Ron yet. That's who you'll get the mission from.

No its actually Trevor that gives you the mission. He has his own strand but for some reason isnt a contact. I know doing missions for certain mission givers prompts them to start spamming you with missions you have already done and that requesting or being close to where a mission starts seems to prompt a text. I would try and do Crystal Clear Out 2 or 3 from the R* mission list and see it it encourages a text. It will come eventually. It should also show up in the post mission voting screen.

Most of the time I do a Ron mission, a Trevor mission pops up soon.

Trevors missions seem to be location activated guys! If you go up to the satellite dish (radio control tower I think) he will 9 times out of 10 give you sattalite communications mission (so long as you are the required level) which I think is the best one he gives for $$$ and RP?

 

If you want to get out of harmony triggered go spend some time in blain county. You will more often than not get the message through. I often see it in the post mission select screen and I personally haven't done it.
