So what exactly is it that you have to do to not pay for a car a tank

I hear so many different stories..one of them was to sit still in your car and the tank is supposed to be moving and the person pays for it, this didn't work. I was still in my Entity, tank comes around, blows me up and I'm stuck paying the bill.

 

I like how Rockstar never cleared this up with us and just told us that badsportsmanship has been toned down for people who crash cars into tanks. Why can't they just make it that if you crash your car into the tank, you pay for it? Some little kid named SonicHedgedHog or some crap was just going around blowing up cars..it's pretty damn annoying when running into this and you're just doing things with your crew. Granted, we all voted to kick him, but everyone else was forced to pay for their insurance.

 

So what is the method used to combat tanks like this without having to pay the bill? It seems subjective and vague, and no, finding a new server doesn't fix this, because you always have the chance of running into this problem again.

tankers pay for insurance once in every 100 cars they blow.

 

even know there are others thing one can do to your PV and stick you with the bill...

 

like blowing your car while holding no money, throwing your car to ocean with cargobob, shoot the car til it catch fire, etc etc...

 

in all this scenarios you would end up paying the bill.

 

want to prevent this... play invite only session with your crew.

The ONLY way to get out of paying insurance is to have NO money on you at all in your bank or on your person.

 

a lot of people have a second char they transfer all there money too so they never pay for any PV they blow up.

How? I thought both characters share the same bank account. And there's been plenty of times I've had to pay for insurance while in a tank..so it makes no sense.

have your second character holding the cash (no money at all in your joint bank account) just remember you have no money to spend on ammo, car mods etc
