1k bounty..... time for tank.

How many of you had this happen? How many of you get annoyed by tanks in general?

 

Me and a buddy got done doing a mission and it puts us in a fresh lobby. I forgot we had bounties so I take us to a parking complex. I don't mind friendly shootouts. I welcome it. I like trying to keep a bounty even if its 1k because I welcome pvp.

 

On the minimap I see a player coming by... some lv 80 in a adder..... He drives by and I think nothing of it. As I'm chatting with my buddy I hear something in the distance.... he came back with a tank.... for a 2k bounty???

 

What the hell are people thinking?

 

So I waited for him to enter the lower floor then hauled ass off the roof via the stunt jump. I rushed to the airport as fast as i could. I get to the helicoptor spawns. Then my buddy is like "brb got to pee"...

 

So I'm sitting there waiting for him to come back... and I see a white dot getting closer.... its tank boy again!

 

My buddy came back just in time. Here I am screaming "get in da choppa! now!"... and he is like why? *looks at map..... OH sh*t!

 

We fly off in time.... we hover above watching him deal with cops then i'm just like tv missle the bastard.... My buddy kills him... tank boy leaves....

 

 

 

 

What is with players who can't handle a gun fight that they have to bring a tank just to not get their asses kicked?

 

I mean just yesterday I did a 2 vs 5 for a simieon car. me and my buddy mopped the floor against another crew. Delivered the car then here comes 5 tanks down the bridge to our location not 5 mins later....

I think what happened was he and hit buddy got there choppa shot down as they were flying away by the tank but he wants everybody to think he made an awesome getaway in reality he was shot down

Well you were going on about how you mopped the floor with a crew in a story you wrote.

 

As for a discussion about why people call tanks when they are outplayed, I think its fairly basic stuff. Someone is getting the upperhand on you, and to do that you change your playstyle or tactics, i.e, get a better weapon. In this case its a tank. You should either anticipate this and kill them as they go for the tank, or simply leave the area and let the cops finish them off, which does happen fairly quickly.

 

Its really not a big issue.
