Got to laugh at the generalisations being made here..

 

Without asking a sample set of male players who play as women characters why they do so, then any conclusions are mere conjecture that a) They want eye candy or b) they want sympathy.

 

Merit as there may be in these views, they are not drawn from analysis now, are they?

 

Identity online is probably more complicated than that..

 

Especially if you consider whether the user is wishing to reflect their actual identity or embrace a dramatis personae... However this is not a black and white issue, given that while the former approach will reflect the user, it may actually reflect what they desire themselves to appear as rather than actually being i.e more attractive, more muscular, changed facial features etc. The latter however can be very far removed from the constructed self image and may also suggest underlying desires. It can also, however, act as a defensive measure, making it far harder to discern the actual identity of the user.

And exactly what is this supposed to mean? You can already change your clothing, won't hurt adding more clothing to the game.

 

I want more missions and heists. Not more clothing options.

So then calm the f*ck down and wait like all of us. Also there IS new missions.
