What Car To Give Up for New Roosevelt?

I am really looking forward to the Valentine's Day Massacre this weekend, bringing a noire feel to GTA5(&O).

Red ties, white gangster suits, a Tommygun (Gusenberg Sweeper), and the sweet looking 1920-esque Roosevelt armored mobwagon.

But, my question is how are you going to pay for all this stuff? The gun is supposed to be free, but I can't imagine the car and the suits will be.

Will you buy a Shark Card if you don't have the in-game cash? I don't have it, so I'm thinking... either grind out jobs or go for the <gulp> cash cards?

Also, if you've got a full garage, are you willing to forfeit one of your vehicles to make room for the Roosevelt?

Which car will you part with?

I have an Exemplar (coupe), a Fugitive (sedan), a Baller (SUV), and a Ruiner (muscle), that are all fully upgraded but which I never use.
I'll have to toil over which one to push along to make room.

Sure, there's still lots of things to address in the game (like the ridiculous cop AI and absolution for tanks when destroying PVs), but this is a great addition to the GTA5 content list.

Thoughts? ;)

All the Beachbum stuff was free so I would say ALL this is free.

I have my garage the way I like it, 1 of each class, best in class, (minus off-road) and the adder/entity.

So I'm going to have to sacrifice one of my lesser used classes.... thinking SUV, or Compact

"Decisions, decisions, garage looks like Precision Collision" - Dr. Dre (from Eminem's Crack a Bottle, featuring Dre and 50 cent... happy?)

Didn't this thread get locked an hour ago?

Yes, it did, which is why I retitled it and reposted. There's absolutely nothing offensive or rule-breaking about either post, so it's unclear why whomever locked it chose to do so.

I've seen far less relevant and moronic posts on this forum made, and considering that 99% of the contributions I make are received positively by the community, I don't get it.

I wanted to see if this one would be locked as quickly as the last, but I am STILL curious to read thoughts on how other players will receive the new DLC and how they'll perceive the cash cards...

So, yes, I linked the DLC to cash cards – is that such an implausible connection? It's both relevant and topical, so again, why the thread got locked, I don't know.

Maybe this one will be locked too, which would be unfortunate because it's a positive discussion topic, not some irrelevant whining rant about Ratloaders or Cricket that seems to stick around for months.

Cheers.

To be honest I probably won't get the new car. It's not my thing. I would like to take it for a test drive though.

It will be interesting driving to a mission in your supercar and you pull up with a classic wagon thing as back up :panic:

So whats the connection between free DLC and entirely optional cashcards? Enlighten me.

I believe the reason was that the mod obviously thought you were posting the DLC as news, when there was already a sticky, perhaps you should link the sticky at the beginning of the post instead of the end.. mod obv couldn't get through the whole topic

Sorry, it seems as if I've missed something.

Can anyone link me to some evidence of the items the OP speaks of?

Thanks :)

The link was at the end, my bad. I tend to stop reading posts about DLC unless there's a reference at the start.

After the money "purge," selling off cars, and moving to a cheaper apartment, I had about $1 million left. Since then, I now have about $200,000 because I bought and upgraded new cars and such.

My connection to the new content was, in question, if we have to pay for the new Roosevelt and the new clothing, it's gonna get expensive... for those players who don't have wads of cash still, would they be motivated to purchase a cash card to buy the new DLC content?

Pretty simple connect, right? Do you feel more enlightened? ;)

Is anyone gonna get the hotknife back?

The Hotknife was a sweet car. I just had no desire to get it when it was "available." ;)

Sorry, it seems as if I've missed something.
