Call of Duty is not a sniping franchise... it was in United Offensive but that ship has sailed... Call of Duty is a joke now... too many quick scopers... its retarded... I only play Black Ops 2 anymore and even then too many QS squeakers... its fun to just straight up demolish them with a silenced five seven... Although in some of these I ended up grabbing a Remington off a dead body and going crazy with it... How I play call of Duty I deal in human lives! Cool story broseph, now go back to your Black Ops game on your old dying console. Doesn't matter if it's more of a shooter or not, the point is that BF4 isn't exactly a "real shooter" when it's compared to real shooters like Unreal Tournament and Counter Strike.. Doesn't matter if it's more of a shooter or not, the point is that BF4 isn't exactly a "real shooter" when it's compared to real shooters like Unreal Tournament and Counter Strike.. as you can probably tell, I play all kinds of shooters... all througout my lifetime... some were good (Yoshis Safari hands down was the greatest with the super scope), but some were also complete sh*t (Purple Haze and Turok 2 come to mind) First time I ever played Unreal Tournament was for Dreamcast. and since then I prefer playing it with a Dreamcast Controller whenever possible... First time I played Rainbow Six was also on dreamcast and I think I still have the CD at my dads house in Oregon... never actually fully beat it but got to the jungle where you raid the villa... First time I played Goldeneye was with my cousin EJ back in the early 00s, me, him, and my cousin Aaron would always have 3 way matches on it... First time I played Battlefield was 1942 at a school I was going to back in 2003... I fell in love First time I played Counter Strike was also at a school although I never really got into it... it was 1.5 I started playing Call of Duty a long time ago before all this modern warfare sh*t... My personal favorite is CoD 2 Big Red One for PS2 because it was different from COD 2 that I had on original Xbox... Brothers in Arms was a good shooter... more tactical which I liked... Loved how the end was at the beginning of the story and it did a full on rewind of events leading up to that point... my second favorite war shooter is Medal of Honor Rising Sun... The Pearl Harbor scene made a huge impression on me... so yea, Ive been around... there are hundreds of FPSs that I have grown up with... Im old... Maxxi Posted April 29, 2015 Share Posted April 29, 2015 Finished my Biohazard armor set (got the boots I was missing), prestiged to 4, found a double Advanced Supply Drop glitch, did the daily Supply Drop Challenge (get 30 kills with heavy weapons in Hardpoint), and watched my little 11-year-old brother go absolute ham on the world with the ASM1-Magnitude and Atlas 20mm (43/12, 48/13, 55/9, 31/6, 33/8, and it goes on more than I can remember). Vietnam and Cuba, all that 60's gear and weapons, Reznov. The game had certain charm to it. Fake, made-up conflicts in near future aren't interesting. I agree totally with this statement... the most interesting parts of the game were the vietnam warzones you were thrown into. If only I was good with 3D environmental development... then I could try to apply for a job at Treyarch... but sadly I have only experience in developing 2D games... I got stuck on the part where you have to shoot a zombie as they are being eaten by an Alligator, so their hand will fall off and you can pick it up to use it for the next step. Sometimes its the ASM1, sometimes its the SAC3. But SMGs never fit my fancy. I prefer LMGs. I have a hard-on every time I fire my Ameli Redshirt with Extended Mags and Rapid Fire. It is like firing a wall of bullets. One time I was trying to get a Longshot on a sniper, and 2 people walked into my fire, and instantly died. It was f*cking hilarious!
