Rockstar Patched Blowing up cars during Missions

Hey so I was just playing Rich Men in Richman with some random dicks when I found this out. There were 3 of us, one was hogging the hacking of the gate and failing every time while I jumped over the fence and drove the cars up to the gate. I head back over to see the other douche hitting my car with a baseball bat so i get in it and run him over before moving the car away. Anyway he ends up blowing up my car.

 

The funny thing is he paid the vehicle insurance after he destroyed this. Now, I might be behind on this but it seems R* have patched it because you used to have to pay for it. Now this has probably been like this for a while but I haven't seen anything on here about it and I just noticed it. I am deeply sorry if you already knew this information and I just wasted 90 seconds of your life but you'll get the f**k over it

I don't recall it ever being the other way, though I didn't get the game until late in October.

Patched what? If the person who destroys your PV has the cash, they have to pay for it. If not, you pay. It's always been like that.

It didn't used to be like that during a mission though. If your car was blown up in a mission they didn't previously have to reimburse you for it. Well this is the first time i haven't had to pay anyway.

maybe what happened to you was that the guys who previously blew up your car didn't have any money at the time

no money = don't have pay insurance

They did patch it so that you can't blow up any vehicle a teammate is in. But that changed a while ago.
