ExtremoMania
Now for anyone with couples out there, esp. to me, all I can say is Happy Valentines to all. Now onto my discussion, reason for this creation is what do you feel kissing your girlfriend, boyfriend on lips. And also why does it involves closing one's own eyes in kissing? I know there's something twitch that involves with it, like following or go with the flow of the moment. But somehow is there a psychological reason to it or is it natural? Tyler
Think for a minute about how weird it is to be an inch away from someone's eyes as they're open and staring intently into your own. Finn 7 five 11
Think for a minute about how weird it is to be an inch away from someone's eyes as they're open and staring intently into your own. It is weird, but in a hot moment it can be good, not while kissing though, maybe with foreheads pressed together becausse that doesn't accompany weird facial expressions, the proximity isn't so bad then. But With your eyes closed also, you turn your visual senses off, which are useless while kissing, and just enjoy the moment. As Yoda would say "Need not eyes to see. They can deceive you, use the force" Or in this case, use the mouth, and enjoy the feeling. Creed Bratton
It just feels better. That's how simple it is for me.
Osho
It's all about feeling the moment. I don't find it as compelling with my eyes open rather closed. Also, I'm kinda shy by nature when my girl gives that look it's not possible for me to have eye contact at all, so naturally that's also another reason. ExtremoMania
Think for a minute about how weird it is to be an inch away from someone's eyes as they're open and staring intently into your own. For some reason it's kinda weird, but what if it's unintentional? What if it's just an accidental kiss and somehow you were able to keep your eyes wide open without feeling something? Well clearly you need some more practice and composure.. Random kisses tend to have the wide-eyed effect. Panz
My ex boyfriend kissed with his eyes open. It was weird at first but didn't bother me after awhile. I dunno. Once I'm comfortable enough with the person, I do both. It really depends on if I'm being silly or not.
MarshalMoo
Don't you guys see a cyclops if you kiss with your eyes open? Or maybe that's attractive, I don't know. paul, RedBull FM and EphemeralStar
EphemeralStar
^AHAHAHHAHAH That was going to be my response. When you're that close it can often make the person look like a creepy cyclops. Some people may find it rude or creepy to have someone kissing them with their eyes open. I personally would probably laugh out of embarrassment, but when you're comfortable enough with that person it doesn't even matter after a bit. THE GHETTO SAMURAI
Well I think everyone has already mentioned it but it's just creep af. But knowing me I'll open my eyes on purpose and try to get my girl to open her eyes and try to create the most awkward kiss ever.
universetwisters
Whenever me and my ex kissed, we closed our eyes. I guess it would be awkward as balls, just standing there, making out all wet and stuff and looking at eachother at an odd angle.
TECHN9CiAN
Kissing creates a feeling of overwhelming sensation/sensation overload, similar to how you close your eyes when you see something like a fist coming toward your face. Its just a natural part of kissing and the intensity of the intemacy. Notice when its a girl you dont have that intimate bond with, your eyes will most likely remain open. El Dildo
shutting down certain senses will enhance other senses. closing your eyes brings more tactile feeling to the kiss itself; her skin, the flutter of her eyelashes, her breath through her nose, the scent and the taste. it's only natural because it feels good. oh, and like Tyler said. it would be really awkward to always kiss with your eyes open because you're just too close. GTA_stu
I dunno. Once I'm comfortable enough with the person, I do both. So you wink at them? Also in my opinion, people close their eyes for much the same reason they turn the lights off when they have sex: they find the person physically repulsive. GTA_stu
I thought it might be hot, but it appears you just have gimpy eye(s). I regret to inform you that I must request the lights be turned off should we ever bump uglies. And with those 2 socket ruiners, it will very much be uglies.
