Got a in game message from R* "You have been suspected for cheatin

It says "You have been suspected for cheating. We are watching you. Improve your behavior" about 2 seconds after I received 2000$ for good behavior.

 

Ive never done a money glitch/god mode glitch, no wall glitches.

 

 

I get a lot of kills from sniping, especially tanks. And each time they accuse me of hacking and report me.

 

Ive also got reported bc my KD is 2.80 right now and other users assume I cheat bc of that…..I also NEVER use tanks unless I get spawned killed by another tank.

 

Did anyone else get this message? I mean I have like 700$ right now too of in game money lol.

people trolling the report button, happens a lot but little do they know that if caught giving false reports they will get sanctioned for it anyway.

Yea some people are assholes, they'll report you for Anything but if you don't cheat then there's nothing worry about, i've heard some people who were sent to cheaters pool for false cheating accusations though

Ah, so you DO get messages if you report someone - I filed a report yesterday against some asshat who using a walhack to kill players after he's buddy placed a bounty on him. So that's why he left so quick. Lol.

I can't believe how often I get called a cheat for sniping them or even just using explosives at closer range. No, the warning for false reporting is a bunch of crap. For the OP stay out of free roam for a few days. Just do jobs and the server will clear the warnings. Also if you have friends or crew ask them to commend you a lot. Finally don't be an asshole.

The best thing is being kicked from races, missions or just free roam by a bunch of 12 years olds WHO SHOULD NOT BE PLAYING IN THE FIRST PLACE.

OP, this trend began during the DNS terminator days, and has since persisted unfortunately. The way it works is, if you own players too much, sometimes they report you for cheating instead of griefing. It's kind of a punk move in my opinion. The problem is however, if you receive enough reports, false or true, you will be cheater pooled. The cheater pool gives you all the benefits of bad sport lobbies plus the added bonus of getting all your cash wiped. Thankfully you said you only have $700 so no big loss there. The perception that bogus reporting will come back to haunt the false reporters is actually untrue. There is no mechanism to investigate good or bad reports, so, if you are getting cheating, griefing reports, there is basically nothing you can do about it except maybe, as said in this thread, get some commendations and or wait out the time for about a week away from possible bad reports.

happened to me... just ignore it, it's just another bug in the game and their dumb bots

I got reported for cheating for off all things...using a bat in TDM. Was playing with my crew against another random crew in a playlist, so I just ran around with my bat and caved people's skulls in. After about 9 kills I get the prompt that someone reported me. So because I'm sneaking up behind you and bashing your brains in with a bat, I'm cheating? Very next match they do the same thing to my friend because he's killing people with just the Auto Pistol. I swear to Christ this game must have the absolute dumbest, ignorant, self entitled community in the history of video gaming.

It's an automatic response given to you if someone uses the report feature. The thing I don't like about this and the kick feature, is it almost accuses you of being guilty even when the other players are just being assholes. The kick feature tells you to improve your behavior, but sometimes you'll get a vote for nothing at all, simply because you killed the guy.

 

They could just make the message say, "Someone voted to kick you". They don't have to add in the whole improve yourself bullsh*t.

Yep. I report people with ridiculous, unobtainable levels and watch to see what they do. 9x/10 they will leave so i know its just some manchild that got it through the dns servers using a YT walkthrough.

I have had a few reports for killing Bounties in my Buzzard cause apparently I MUST BE A HACKER to be able to do that lol

At the very least, I hope the person responsible for the reporting gets a strike against them if R* "investigates" and sees the person they reported on is actually legit. I've seen a few people say they know of others who got cheater pooled for abusing the report feature, but I'm not sure I believe it with how shallow the reporting system is in the 1st place.

I'm pretty sure i've been reported for sniping people blocks away then. Haven't gotten any messages, but my 2k from being a good sport hasn't appeared in a long time.
