Yes doing missions is a decent way, however the cost of ammo uses up more or less of all of it.

 

How much ammo do you use in a mission like Rooftop Rumble, Mixed Up With Coke, Base Invaders etc. There is no way if you play the mission properly that you should ever use more ammo than what you make in return from the payment of these types of job.

Learn to aim and conserve ammo, it really is not that hard. Coveted takes no more than 7 sniper rounds and 1 shotgun blast to make 12k. 4 minutes to run through.

Lots of ways to have fun and make money! . Granted, missions are actually getting boring, but there is shed loads of fun you can make for yourself.

 

hehe... Challenges, Events (aka Olympics etc), Crew matches.... of the sandbox is a great place.

 

And as for ammo on missions OP, there are those that say we Buzzard pilots are DBs for using them on missions, but hey... I spend $200. Done.

I don't agree it's gotten worse since the R* heist. When we were all Billionaires free roam was like Beruit, now it's more like Detroit. More people are doing missions, at Christmas no one was racing (except the ding-a-ling tube racers) or doing missions. Now missions fill up fast and people are racing again.

 

R* has dropped the ball on a lot but I think it's better now than at the start of the year.

Define "ding-a-ling tube racers" for me?

 

 

@OP - I will admit that although taking away the money was the right thing to do...it did seem to increase the speed with which my friends are getting bored and playing other things. I am a very patient man but I fear they may lose an awful lot of players if they don't at least SAY something soon.

 

The update will bring people back in but I also fear it will be very temporary. There is definately something missing in the gameplay for so many people to be getting bored so quickly. In that...I agree with the OP...Rockstar is failing the community.

This argument that ammo is too expensive I don't buy.

 

If you got less than 2000 bullets you can pick up ammo from fallen npcs. Survival is great for that, just run around and pick up ammo while your team kills the npc enemies.

 

I rarely buy ammo these days.

 

This sh*t with players blowing up pv's and then have zero cash sucks. Someone blew up my Entity the other day and had like 500 dollars... That's just silly, give them minus on their accounts and don't make them get away with paying insurance.

 

Rockstar have not failed any cities .

Trust me I know how to aim. Also don't assume I'm whining bud. I just like to drive one of my good cars without having to worry about grifers forcing me to pay for it each time. Also no adders suck. Yes I know coveted is a good way to make money, however you seem to be missing the point of a video game, ITS TO HAVE FUN. Really if I wanted to repeat the same thing over and over I'd just ditch video games and get an office job. Grinding may be acceptable when you start a game, however when I put real work into a game I'd like to get to the point where I can just relax and have fun in it without grinding or any of that nonsense.

 

 

You certainly have a point. I agree from top to bottom. But we're playing GTA and what you see is what kind of gaming society this game has.

 

I avoid public room due to the jackasses and internet lags, so I only play with someone from close-by country in Invite Session. It's boring sometimes because we can't meet other people, but it's still better than get your car blown up for doing nothing.
