The Sultan performs way better. But if you're bored with a car, then find something that interests you. I love the Stratum - it's one of my favorite cars in the game. I have another car if I want to get around the city or up to the country at light speed, but I mostly drive my Stratum around for cruising. Sure, it's pretty quick, but there are a few quicker Sedans and of course it can't even compete with Sports.

 

The only reason I would ever keep the Sultan is because it has visual mods, whereas the Stratum doesn't. (Even though the Stratum in SA did :/ )

i already did it haha, ill play around with it a little longer but honestly i was gonna get rid of the sultan for the roosevelt anyway. if i dont like this its fate will be the same

 

EDIT: completely forgot to put a tracker on it and changed sessions.........i feel empty inside, almost as empty as the slot where my car used to be in my garage.

Picked up a Stratum today as I was looking for a sedan to add to my garage and this thread intrigued me. Found the standard version driving through Cypress Flats but couldn't find the Twin Turbo one so I took my newly found Stratum to my garage. I remember seeing quite a few sedans in the past around the Paleto Bay area so I took my Stratum there to try and find the twin turbo one. Took me a while but I finally got one after changing my spawn location from apartment to current location and kept reloading. I had plenty of Karin Intruders spawn for a while but finally got the car I wanted.

 

I've fully modded it and it's a really nice car, pretty nippy and handles really well. Obviously you can get quicker 4 door cars but you get to a point where do you really need more speed? I guess it depends on what you want it for, for me it's perfect.

I like both the Intruder and Primo and have owned both. Of the two I'd go for the Primo as it's a bit more "sleeper" than the Intruder. Try out the Stanier though, I've had one and fully modded it was a nice car to drive and reasonably fast. Proper sleeper car too.

 

Yeah, Stratum is 4wd, very stable handling.

I quite like this and the Primo definitely feels a lot better IMO. Even the gold colored rims look like they belong and the color definitely seems to "modernize" it a bit more.

 

I'm somewhat partial to the Infiniti inspiration in the Intruder though.

 

Decided it'd be a "which ever I find first I'll take first", and it was the Intruder go figure. I do want to make room for the Primo, perhaps that'll be the next one (to replace the Intruder in some time), who knows. It's car 10 for me, I purposely wanted to free this up to mess around anytime I wanted.

The Intruder sucks bawls, and the Primo isn't much better. Schafter/Tailgater or if you just want 4 doors rather than sedan "class", I'd go for the Oracle - fast, great handling, and unassuming.

Have you guys forgotten about the Karin Asterope?

 

It's actually a pretty quick car that has good handling. If you're racing, no one will expect one fully upgraded, and you will have the joy of hearing people in Super Diamonds rage after losing to a Camry.

Stock exterior Sultan fully modded is my choice. Cheap to insure/replace. Plus its pretty quick and nimble.

Today I changed my interuder with twin turbo stratum and I recommend it who wants to add it to their garages.

It is fast with full mods.

It is 4 wheel drive thus very good at turns

And with 4 doors could drive many people

 

I also take the photos of regulat and twin turbo to let you see the difference.

 

It is written as twin Turbo at the back as mentioned before

I too got myself a twin turbo Statum last night. I was only educated on their existence yesterday. Spent an hour last night in the country side hunting one down. Ended up getting it in Grapeseed. Not the quickest car but its different. No visual mods for it though which is a pity.

About the stratum, there are actually 4 variants. One with a front bumper lip, one with a roof rack, one with a spoiler and a stock one.

 

I would really recommend the Stratum, it's got ridiculous off the line acceleration because it doesn't have any wheelspin, and it's AWD system makes it handle like it's on rails.

 

You could ask someone on the duping thread to get you a unique one with all the body options:

it actually really bothers me that the door panels don't actually line up with the rest of the frame in the sense you can see breaks in the lines/color/light. Other than that I did play around with one last night, they're surprisingly fun.

 

But alas as someone mentioned about the Schafter etc, yes - I know. Again I mentioned in the beginning I'm not looking for the best, I just want something to cruise around in and have fun of the SEDAN class, I have my other "4 door" vehicles. I've got my Frank's, Exemplar and Sultan.

OP I have owned a Karin Intruder, Albany Primo, and Zirconium Stratum. I have all performance upgrades, so these cars were all upgraded to the very max.

 

The Intruder performs the worst imo. Sure it's handling is nice but it just feels much slower than the other two. The Primo is nice because of the mods and overall I really like the look of the car. But I'd go with the Stratum WAYYY before the other two. It's quick, especially with the TT version, which isn't hard to find at all. Plus, you really can't beat the R32 front end and the sanctification of smoking someone in a station wagon/estate.

 

To those wondering about the TT version, it just spawns whenever Stratums start spawning. Just look for the spoiler. It's about maybe 20% or 25% of the Stratum spawns.

The Sultan is faster than all the Sedans when fully modded, but it is pretty boring being owned by about 90% of players! :)

Thanks for this now I have a new car to search and find... And replace with my twin turbo with spoiler only.

 

Actually while it has an options on the car why they did not just put those to the LSC as selection, I could not understand.

Not sure if you can get one with the other or not. The best way would be to be in a Stratum and cruise around until you see them spawning. I would highly recommend Paleto Bay for spawning sedans from past experience, just make sure you change your respawn location to current location if you have an apartment. It's going to take some time and finding new sessions should get it quicker.

 

Interesting that you can find one with a roof rack, will keep an eye out for that.

It is not possible to find ANY combinations with the Stratum, as each of them are separate. The only way is to use save editing, and use the SP/MP glitch like I did with my Stratum. You could request one in the duping thread, or try using the save editor yourself.
