Does anybody miss playing GTA IV?

Nope, I would have had better views on GTA IV if it was part of a different series (I pretened it was when I played it), rather than being part of the GTA series and feeling like GTA Lite.

GTA iv had its moments but if people want to play it they only have to put the discs in again.. it got dull when it became a load of people in buzzards holding down the trigger finger and toasting everything constantly. 99% of the time we'd play in private lobbies.

Another thing I don't miss from GTA IV's free roam. Francis International Airport.

 

Normal free roam lobby, everyone is killing everyone at the airport. Friendly free roam lobby, everyone is driving around doing jumps or glitching things at the airport.

I played it 5 years almost every night. I miss it a lot. Mostly, though, I miss the far greater vehicle handling and I miss cars taking damage.

the other night I put the disk in for the 1st time since V came out. I went straight to free mode and landed at the airport. Within 10 seconds I was blown up along with just about everyone else on the map by a modder. I left that session and landed in another full of cheating dbags. Safe to say I will probably never play that game again.

I miss playing on PC, and also I miss that you could die as much as you wanted without penalty, and we still had free mode.

Man, i had really fun times playing IV. Thing is, I sold it to get money. Does anybody else have great memories with IV?

I loved playing GTA IV! The driving felt better for the most part, although PIT Maneuvers were near impossible to do on other players. Miss being able to patrol in my marked Stanier without the interference of the AI Police. My Glock 17! The feel of the city, with all the alleyways and the streets, not to mention Middle Park. Anyone else remember doing the swing set glitch?
