Cars you have in your garage and why

Basically, this is a show 'n' tell thread. List all 10 of your cars (unless you have a 6-car/2-car garage) ordered by how much you like them, and why.

 

1. Lampadati Felon

Sedans/Four-Door coupes are my favorite cars both in-game and IRL. I used to have a Schafter, but I got sick of using it so I replaced it with the Felon. Kinda glad I did.

 

2. Dinka Double-T

A friend of mine had a motorcycle, and I ended up experiencing the incredibly cliché "Monkey See, Monkey Do" effect. I originally had a Hexer (the chopper), but I ended up replacing it with the Double-T. Good choice IMO. My character looks better on it, and I think it might be faster too. I use it almost as much as my Felon, especially when I have to travel long distance. It's good at weaving through traffic, and I've gotten to the other end of the map faster than in any of my other vehicles.

 

3. Weeny Issi

This thing is without a doubt, a blast to drive. It's tiny, lightweight, and if course, convertible. Both the handling and the drifting are amazing on this thing as well. I've made it to the top of the building on the construction site without scratching it (try doing that in you Adder!). To me, the Weeny Issi is like a comfy, domestic Bifta with a convertible top (in other words, you can take off the top without having to visit LSC)

 

4. Declasse Sabre Turbo

There's actually a story behind this one. I was hanging out in a random session, and some guy joined. First thing he said was that if anyone was interested, do drive a car they found to him, and he's customize it (this was before Rockstar took all the hacked money away). I had a Buccaneer at the time, and all I wanted was the hood with the exposed engine in it. As usual, the game seemed to know I was looking for that specific car, so they naturally refuse to spawn. After a while, I eventually have up. Before I left the session, he surprised me with a fully customized Sabre Turbo. It's funny, now that I think about it. I liked it a lot more than the Buccaneer. After that, he and I became friends.

 

5. Coil Voltic

This is the only Super Car I have (I must be stoned for not liking the Adder or the Entity). Also, why is the Voltic even considered a Super Car? Last time I checked, the Lotus Elise wasn't a Super Car.

 

6. Karin Futo

Cool little thing. I put some off-road wheels on it, put some "lights" on front bumper. And turned it into a rally car.

 

7. Ubermacht Zion Cabrio

Nice to drive around in on a sunny day in Los Santos. Almost as fun as the Issi.

 

8. Declasse Granger

I felt like I needed an SUV, and the fact that people can hang off the side just made this one the coolest. I have the one with the brush guard on it, cause the one without it looked kinda meh.

 

9. Elegy RH8

Only reason I have this thing is because it was free. It's the only "Street Racer" car I have. It's not my favorite, but I don't hate it either.

 

10. Dewbauchee Exemplar

It's a fast four-door car. If it weren't for the cars speed, I would have sold it a long time ago.

Cognesenti Cabrio

 

Very good looking and remarkable under rated. Nice cruiser.

 

Stinger GT

 

Classic beauty and most attractive of all the sports classics. A bit of a handful but that's why I like it

 

Felon.

Adder

 

Bloody quick and very stable. great intercept vehicle

 

Z Type

 

One of the quickest Classics and classy as hell. Old school charm for all occasions (Nerd alert: The real life equivalent is one of the oldest cars to be replicated first appearing in the early 30's and being one of the fastest cars of the time. So on a nerdy level I love this car as It covers the entire generation of cars in the game. Here is a pic for inspiration)

 

Croquette

 

One mean looking mother tuned up. Fast as hell and very stable. Under rated as well so you will stand out

 

Franklin Buffalo

 

Beautiful 4 dr muscle car (I know it says sports). Looks better than the regular buffalo and goes like stink

Sanking XL

 

Because it's big

 

Surano

 

Like the SLR Merc cabrio. Very fast but trickier than the croquette. Nice mods, but my mood can change.

My ps3 account is a bunch of bumbler super cars so I'll talk about my xbox account. First off is a black tailgater looks like mikeys, a hot pink and ultra blue youga racer van. (I call it the cotton candy mobile it looks really nice) and my pride and joy the ubermacht sentinel. Not sentinel xs, just the sentinel. Took 3 months but I found it. The convertible roof is so sexy if it was a woman id kiss her. Enough about talking about that my nips are hard now. Im a man btw. So next up is a black bravado buffalo I tried to make it look like ice cubes car from the new movie ride along and I love how it drives I use it a lot of I'm driving long distances or running errands. Next up is a red coquette with roof I love it the spoiler is amazing it's fast and reliable. Also have an elegy with off road tires for up in the hills (so much fun doing jumps on mountains with off road tires) and a 9f cabrio, 9f cabrio. Should I say anything more? A sleek convertible looks good drives great wins races. Forget the rest sorry for typing so much.

Bodhi and a sultan RS also franklins buffalo just out of shot. I did have a vacca in the empty space but I sold it as the coquette performs much better with equivalent mods.

Whoops! Didn't see the part where you said "ordered by how much you like them" until I was almost done typing up my post, so this list is ordered by the spot each car occupies in my garage. Oh well, I'm too lazy to rearrange everything.

 

1. Vapid Dominator

This was my very first car in GTA Online. It was originally going to be an Asea, but someone killed me and blew it up, so I had to search for a new car. I chose the Dominator because it looked like a Ford Mustang, and thus was going to be a fast car.

 

2. Annis Elegy RH8

When I was doing races for the first time, a lot of them were sports car races. I had no sports car of my own back then, and I noticed that the people who were constantly placing at the top were using this car, so I decided to "buy" one myself. It's very grippy and easy to drive, which makes it perfect for races.

 

3. Dundreary Landstalker

When I first joined the forums, I liked to read through the Custom Rides & Garages Edition thread. At the time, there didn't seem to be a single Landstalker posted there. So, why not be different from the rest of the community? For a large SUV, it feels so quick and agile, especially when you fully upgrade it.

 

4. Obey Tailgater

I thought that my garage could use another four door car. I chose the Tailgater due to its rarity and its decent performance.

 

5. Imponte Ruiner

When I found out that you could put Japanese shakotan-style modifications on this car, I just had to have it. Currently, it has pink and yellow paint, an exposed intercooler, ram air hood, drag wing, limo windows, and shakotan exhaust pipes.

 

6. Dinka Akuma

I needed a motorcycle to compete in bike races. I knew that the Bati 801 and the Akuma were the two best bikes. I chose the Akuma because I have had more success with it.

 

7. Overflod Entity XF

The best car for super races. Need I say more?

 

8. Grotti Cheetah

When I saw the look of this car, I was attracted to it. I gave her a dark blue color and named her Marina.

 

9. Truffade Z-Type

This looked like a high-class car that I just needed to have. So glad I chose it because I struggled with sports classic races when using the Monroe. Ever since I switched over to the Z-Type, I've been having much better results.

 

10. Dewbauchee Exemplar

In my eyes, this was one of the most useful cars in the game. It had high speed, great handling, and a seating capacity of four. Perfect for any situation in GTA Online.

Dominator- Main car for everyday and missions

Infernus- Fast and looks cool

Coquette- Same as Infernus

Sabre Turbo- Cool visual mods and paint scheme

Gauntlet- May replace with a Sentinel

Carbonizzare- Same as Inferus and Coquette

Sultan- Visual mods and not as common as other cars

Schwarzer- I love how it looks with mods

Merryweather Mesa- I love offroading out by Fort Zancudo sometimes and this works for me.

Sandking SWB- Same as Mesa but I love running over NPC cars also.

Bifta

 

Don't know why I have this thing actually... but I can't figure out how to get rid of it forever.

 

Now for the beauties of my Garage. I assign a color to each of my cars to theme them around (primary body color, wheel color, etc.) And I use them all in freemode equally, so while I guess I'm just filling my garage with race-ready vehicles, I still use them as equally in freemode as possible, perhaps #1 more than others.

 

 

 

Blue Tailgater

 

The most recent addition to the family, and already my absolute favorite, probably because of the hell I have been through trying to find this thing when I could have just waited for Simeon to ask for one lol.

 

 

I picked Blue for this thing for two reasons. One it looks good with primary blue and secondary white. Two Blue is the color that represents Michael, who owns a Tailgater himself, so I thought out of respect for the old movie fan, I would let this one represent him.

 

 

Green Bifta

 

The Bifta I actually use, I like to call it my Bounty hunter vehicle on the side since I like hunting bounties in it.

 

 

Green probably wasn't the best choice of color for an off-road, but... I dunno... the earth-mobile? Also the Family Bifta since green is Families color. GROVE 4 LIFE... when we get it back from the Ballas anyways... also white goes good with green on the Bifta.

 

 

Purple Gauntlet

 

I used to have a stolen Gauntlet, but it disappeared for some reason, so I bought a new one, and decided to let it sport the old ones colors.

 

 

Midnight purple primary, purple wheels, and secondary white looks nice on my Gauntlet. wish I could customize it a little more than it is, but I like it. I like to call it my Balla Gauntlet since... well you can guess... please don't kill me, I like the Families as much as the next guy...

 

 

Red Elegy RH8

 

It's a free car for having a social club account, I will not complain. Base stats are kind of similar to the entity XF, a car which I like to use in super races even if the Adder is a better option.

 

 

Color is kind of hard to see at night since the primary color is technically Black, but I added a bright red Pearlescent, which I think was actually a dumb move since I could have just gotten Wine Red... but whatever. But the Red pearlescent fits nice with the Schafter Purple I have as the secondary color.

 

 

White Issi

 

I used to use an Issi back when I was starting up, but I had to get rid of it because I only had a 2 car garage back then... but I got another one, and in the old Issi's honor it sports the same colors the first Issi sported.

 

Although the old Issi was Primary Black secondary White, the new one is Primary white secondary black.

Orange Akuma

 

My first official race-ready vehicle. I didn't actually know it was one of the better motorcycles out there, I only picked it because I liked the name and how it looked lol.

 

It used to be Green, but I changed it to Orange when I saw how it would look with orange.

Cheetah - because it looks like an enzo ferrari from the front, and i like the back even though idk what it's supposed to be

Infernus - 'cause it's got both the lambo diablo and murcielago jammed into it

Vacca - 'cause i like the lamborghini gallardo

Phoenix - so i could dress it up like the plymouth superbird (with a blower added)

Bifta - it was free and i could dress it up like it belongs in mario kart

Feltzer - generally it looks nice, but i added a full aero kit and that big ass spoiler to it, just to taunt every boring purist i come across. plus i like that hiccup it does when it shifts gears

Hotknife - because it looks and sounds nice

Frank's Buffalo - same reason as the hotknife

Sultan - reminds me of the mitsubishi evo, wanted to make mine look somewhat like the one from 2fast 2furious

Corquette - because corvette

My main characters garage is mostly muscle cars from the testing I did earlier this month, so here's my back up Toon's garage. by favorite and slot #

 

1. (4) Carbonizzare - great mission car and all around driver, pretty quick

2. (3) Phoenix - in the Dodge Charger Daytona colors (almost hemi orange), love that engine noise

3. (10) Infernus - All the performance of an Adder at less than half the price.

4. (2) Tailgater - just got this last night, love the handling

5. (9) Elegy - fastest, bestest car in the game and you cant beat the price

6. (8) Exemplar - my future heist car, I do use it for missions some now-

7. (6) Youga - Like driving around your own wall to pull out anytime and make a stand with

8. (7) BF Surfer - clean, no board version - it will be my weekend getaway vehicle when we can buy 2nd houses

9. (5) Comet - Another very fast cheap car for free roam

10. (1) Mesa - Cool SUV and the perfect car for slot #1

 

entire garage was stolen off the streets ( or stolen and then bought as LSC considers them "too hot")

Wouldnt it be nice if you can re-org your garage so the big vehicles were in the back/ Youga in #1, Bifta #10 and Sandking #6. Nice group though

9. Rapid gt, if the turning is slightly better I would be putting it before carbo.

8, carbonizzare, looks cool and the fastest sports car.

7. Infernus, looked like a Lamborghini with zonda in the rear, nice but awful in turning

6. Penumbra, for style with tons of mods but slow.

5. Ruiner, besides futo, the only vehicle with double v shaped exhaust, and the whole car looked very 80s. I pained it with blue and white.

4. Elegy rh8, with the gt wing it actually looks like those v8 superclass racing, the colour painted around bumper and skirts looked nice.

3. Coquette, mods are awesome, decent top speed, but simply looks cool with purple and green.

2. Cheetah, front is Ferrari enzo and rear Gta spano, it can be a ramp and it looks like f1 and zonda pagani

1. Dun dun dunnnnn! Surano, what I considered the best car in terms of handling, acceleration, braking and top speed combined, not much mods available because it's BMW

Stinger GT - vintage class

 

Entity - fast and great steering. Plus no bullets through the back

 

Adder - fast and reliable. Also good to have in case of an emergency cash shortage.

 

Monroe - nice vintage sportscar

 

Carbonizzare - aggressive little car with great speed. And it's a hard-top convertible!

I got an Addder and voltic cuz ones fast and ones Nasty goot handling. I got a Pheonix cuz that cars is sick. I got a Indruder for when i dont want people blowin up my car. I got an sultan cuz its a fast 4 door. I got a rebel cuz its a good offroader. I got a bj xl cuz its a small suv. i got a feltzer but will be a banshee cuz i hate its handling. i got a SENTINEL CUZ ITS MY FAVORITE CAR EVER. and i got a couple other cars i dont remember cuz i dont drive em as often

Tailgater - It's my newest car so I've been driving it the most. I wasn't evern looking for it when I came across it. Kept it because it's rare & I could use it for racing.

 

Adder - My 1st super car. Used the stimulus to help pay for it. A lot of people hate it but I love it. Have won a lot of races with this thing.

 

Entity - I had billions & thought it would be nice to have the other top super car. And it is.

 

Carbonizzare - Had this car in SP tucked away in Michael's garage. Figured I would get it online too. Have won a lot of races with it too.

 

Bati - Wanted a motorcyle. I liked the way this one handled the best.

 

Exemplar - Got it in case I needed a four door car for missions with my crew. Glad I did because now I love it. Sounds pretty good for a coupe too.

 

Monroe & Z-Type - I wanted a sports classic to race. Couldn't decide between the two. Had billions at the time so I got both. Love driving both.

 

Gauntlet - the oldest car in my collection. It's the best all around muscle car in my opinion.

 

Vacca - Got it for no other reason than its looks. IMO it's the best looking super. It's also fun to drive.

Akuma - Fast bike

Elegy - its free!

Fusilade - Its fully tuned up and has beaten Entitys etc in races. I don't drive it much in Freemode though.

Bullet - Wanted a car that no one else really has
