But I would personally bet that it was originally suppose to be a cutscene in the game that they cut out at a later date. I would guess that if it was a cutscene it was at the end of 'Did Someone Say Yoga'. I think the cutscene at the end of his mission where he reads Amanda's letter was longer and after Michael reads the letter he ran upstairs to find Jimmy (as he did drug him) but realised he and his family was definetly gone and Michael realised he f*cked up and lied on Jimmys bed. They should stop drinking whiskey and working for nothing for f*ck's sake. If they didn't made this cut for the sh*tty trailer and smoke crack all the way, maybe they would've had the time to make Burger Shot interiors or even add another city like San Diego or Analheim. And this is not even talkling about yoga, f*cking C* c*nts.... With this scene and deleting yoga, the story could have been as good as TLoU's.... f*ck you Cockstar with your pathetic Scottish attitude. Do we really need to go all over this again? Maybe Michael's depression when his family leaves him was to be made more graphic and sad. The screenshot in the op likely came from a cut transition when you switch to Michael. I'm guessing R* was really sensitive on not making the game too depressing after the backlash from IV's dark storyline. Which I liked and love dark storylines in general, makes the characters more relateable and less cartoony. Yeah, I found it strange as hell that they did that "So now what?" swap. It just seems so random and it's absence from the actual in-game heist didn't make the mission any less memorable. Yeah, the lack of clothing, the emotion in his face - this looks like a removed cutscene from "Did Somebody Say Yoga?" This would probably play at the end of the mission, fade to black, show the mission objectives and medal crap, and force you to switch to Franklin or Trevor.
