MikaCuoco Posted February 10, 2014 Share Posted February 10, 2014 I need to unlock the metals (Paint) and I just realized that I have to win rally races to unlock them, Every rally that I've done has been through the quick race option (phone) How do I select/join a rally? If I press pause then go to jobs there is only a race option (not rally) Note: I can't host anything because no one ever joins (seems to be a common problem for hosts) Do I just keep trying on the phone because I've just tried 50 times and not one was a rally. sadpandamakeup Posted February 11, 2014 Share Posted February 11, 2014 (edited) Well, everyone else explained how to select the rally option. This is the easy way I've found to actually win the race. 1) Select Down the Drain. You won't have to worry about information from your partner to win this one since you only make two big turns in the whole race. Select "driver" so you're likely to be the driver. Turn customs ON and catchup OFF. Select it one lap. A lot of newer players tend to join that track so it won't take long to get 3 more players. Start the race right away once you get three more players so you won't have as many people to compete against. 2) Select a car class that low level players usually don't have a fully upgraded custom vehicle for, such as Muscle or Sports Classics. 3) Own them. Newer players won't be as good at the track as you, and their stock car won't be able to keep up with your custom Muscle/Sports Classic . . . especially with Catchup off.
