How many times have you completed 'GTA V'?

I've only completed the story once on my offline Xbox 360. I plan on buying it for the PS3 and maybe get 100% completion. At least my PS3 is connected to WiFi.

Only once, but I keep getting an absolutely desperate urge to play through it again which I've never had so soon after completing a game, which I think is a sentiment to how much I enjoyed it.

Still, I have a rule. I don't play through a game again until at least a year after doing it last time. May sound like an odd rule, but it makes games feel like a new experience again each time, especially if you do it on the anniversary of the release date. I will start a new game on September 17, 2014.

I completed it twice within the week of release. I would start all over again if it comes out on PS4 but if that doesn't happen I won't be restarting until GTA VI is about to come out.

Three times, all with the same ending.

Once, I tried to start it again to try out alternative versions of the heist but the game is just too dull for me and I got bored 6 missions in..

I find it interesting I'm one of GTA V's biggest critics yet I've beaten it more than some of its hardcore fans . There's a hole in the space/time continuim being torn as we speak.

I don't think you hate it is much as you say you do. You just need to wrap your head around the fact that it is not like IV and you are probably a little offended that they made it a point to please IV's critics in some areas. There is my diagnosis for the day.

I've never said I hate the game. If you look through some of my posts from the 4 months or so while I'm still adamant with my criticisms I have openly praised it saying it was my personal GOTY of 2013 and recognise it has plenty of replay value.

Official General

I've only finished the storyline once. I've no real motivation to it all again, well, not for a long while yet anyway.

I'm not really looking forward to going through all that FIB and government agent bullsh*t again.

I have a desire to play through the story of GTA IV + EFLC again for a third time, which I will do after going through a few games I need to get through that I've still not yet played.

I've only completed it once, but I have an urge to do a second run through. One of my friends has borrowed my disc though and he's taking SO LONG to play it...

wow, 16 times? Insane... I've probably seen a dozen movies and some Star Trek TNG episodes that many times at least, when I was in my teens.

I never finished the story, and I'm to the last heist. Frankly, I guess the story/heists didn't interest me enough to finish. It kinda got pushed aside by my power-watching of all seasons of Breaking Bad in September-October of 2013. That show had a story that I just couldn't put down. I played through IV only once completely, then started another game and didn't get far. With V the in game heists were a great marketing point to otherwise disguise remixed game play with a different story twist, but at the threshold of the last heist in the story I simply have had little or no interest to return and finish it. I thought that I'd finish it over the Holidays, but I geeked out on GTAO instead during most of that time. The drama in the story though between all characters was really good, good enough for an animated movie themselves, IMO.

GTAO took my interest away from the story as well. At this point, gaming transforming into some type of low level Matrix is what I hope I get to experience in decades to come before I leave this planet.

Twice, neither time to 100% percent.

As much as I love the game, there's no way I'm going to waste my time collecting all the spaceship parts or letter scraps. I could probably complete the story again faster than I could find all those damn parts.

As for online, I played it once for an hour and a half, I wasn't very impressed with it.

Four times (and thinking of another one). The last three in under 15 hours. The third one at 96% but accidentaly replaced it with another save.

I've played it through 4 times. My main save is the one I'm working towards 100%, no cheating by looking at guides.

I feel bad for people who only played it once, you guys are missing out big time.

Also, like someone mentioned, the replay mission feature just isn't the same as starting a new save

I've only completed the story once and have goofed off with my completed save since. No where near 100%

This is because I have finally (and this time I means it!) made the final attempt to beat GTAIV. Instead of quitting around the 12th mission I have made it almost to the end this time!

  • 2 weeks later...

Once at 79.5%. If there was a way to play through a 2nd time without losing my built up skills & unlocked car mods & weapons I'd definitely replay story mode, it's too painful to start over with everything taken away again. I've just stuck to Online since finishing story mode...

Sir Winthorpe Herrington

Hey folks,

How many time have you completed GTA V? Also how much percent.

I have completed GTA V a total of 16 times since the release all around 80%, I haven't played much online at all, but am sure it will give me something to do after I find the story some what boring.

Cheers Shiek.

16 times?! Holy f*ckin sh*t are you obsessed with it? I went through the game twice and have 100% but have not messed around with online much because it sucks donkey balls.

Just completed the story for the third time yesterday. After taking a 3 month break, it was refreshing and I appreciate the game that much more. I love it.

I completed it 2 times.

1 at 75% and the 2nd attempt at 96% (Current)

I completed the campaign 2 times in 4 days (2nd time without cinematics). I had to reboot the campaing because I spend all my money in a lot of unnecesary stuff and did the assassination missions without investing anything :(

I've completed it 3 times on 3 different gamertags

My question is, if I go for a 4th, would I be able to have my 97% file and another file on the same gamertag? I don't want to lose my 97% file, but need the money achievement

Edit: 16 times! I only finished IV 6 or 7 times!
