best "undercover" car....

Hey guys I'm looking for a plain, unnoticeable car that has good speed / acceleration..... it'd be used with "off the radar" to hunt bounties and to surprise players....

Any suggestions?

Oracle (older style), Cheval Surge, Jackal, fully modded SUV, Dominator (with rear window vents), Issi, Sentinel. I've owned all if these cars at one point and they hardly attract any attention and still drive very well.

I recently did up my Sultan RS to be my undercover car. I was on a bounty hunting hot streak so I got really into it and started wasting money on things that in my head sounded like awesome Bounty Hunter Skillz.

 

 

Third one down, in grey. I went with a crappy silver/metallic color because it's the color I most often see Sultan's spawning in the desert. Stripped off the custom front bumper, spoiler, I left the Window's tinted cause I don't think it's that much of a give away, I might untint them now that I'm a-flush with cash. For added detail do donuts in the desert/dirt to get the all all dirtied up. The only give aways are that the windows are limo black and it says "Sultan RS" on the side which I might also remove since I just learned it's linked to the roll cage. We'll see.

 

In all honesty I think your name still appears above your head if you are off the radar so I dunno if having a stealth car helps? Especially if you approach from behind like I usually do.

 

My play is go OTR as I close in on a bounty, get next to him in traffic, and drive by for the kill but I haven't noticed it getting easier or harder when driving my Sultan as compared to driving by Banshee or my Carbo. Except both of those let me catch my mark faster and be long gone before my OTR wears off.

 

Still, despite being over hyped, the Sultan has its strengths. Decent accel, pretty fast, 4WD. I don't love it much on the streets or taking corners but it's an off road god.

 

In all honesty, the best Undercover car is probably a Gallivanter Baller 1(the version with the black vents in front of the driver/passenger doors, it seems to spawn more frequently) with all performance mods and an ignition bomb. Most people know the baller is 9k and will go to steal one to sell. So if you keep it armed with a bomb you might catch someone and if you creep on someone off the radar and hide in the traffic/follow the NPC patterns well you might by yourself a few seconds to open fire before they realize you're after their ass and not a 9k treat that just rolled up on them. Plus the baller is a pretty common spawn in certain neighborhoods.

For bounty hunting with "off the radar" I use my akuma. Make sure that you turn your lights off. Since the bike is a small vehicle, it will be harder for them to see you. I allways come from behind them and throw a sticky bomb.

I've got a Stanier - fully modded except standard wheels and lights.

 

If you go in even 'on the radar' (especially playing your musical horn) you usually get the drop on them as they look for the Entity

 

Quite quick too.

 

Seems like a lotta love for the Stanier here
