People not sharing cars, what's up?

I always lock and unlock my cars in missions because its mine.. Its my 'tool' to use. I need it by me... Right by me constantly.

 

I wish there was a passenger only option. Then i would gladly leave it open.

 

But so many times where i have forgot to lock it i get reminded as to why i should have.

 

 

If the player i play with is cool.. I'll leave it unlocked.. Because i know they won't take it and leave me on foot.

 

I agree. The cars are ours and we have the right to do with them what we will. I've locked the doors when someone drives off when I needed it too. I just feel when I'm working with someone to complete a mission anything I bring to the mission is available for everyone to use.

Sad but true, the minute you give most the fools you encounter in this game and inch, they'll take a mile and you'll find your car destroyed by someone with no cash and you're paying the insurance.

 

What one has, one keeps. There are pleanty of cars on the street to borrow.

Cure for this is to let them go get killed and don't go anywhere near the mission, they will eventually quit and maybe think next time about giving you a ride.

I mean comon no one makes you pay for it. When you finish the mission your car spawns in as good as new. And if I accidentally drive your car in to the ocean I pay the insurance not you! Some people need to learn how the game works before they post nonsense lol

I don't know about you... but I don't ride around in busted up cars, especially my own after some tool gets it stuck up a tree.

I have all of mine set to friend's and crew only. I had an ass clown screw off with one of my cars once (wish I had a ignition bomb then).

I only let 2 sweet ladie drive my car's (they know who they are).

 

Doing mission with other people I figure - if you don't have or can't get a ride.....walk. Not my problem.

I typically leave my car open for all to jump in....but that doesn't mean that I want those people driving my car.

There needs to be an option to allow people to RIDE in the car, but not DRIVE it.

I will kick people out of my car if they take off in it and leave me in the middle of nowhere with no car.

Also, I don't trust other players with my car. There is too much they can do that'll leave me paying for insurance on it.

 

You should ALWAYS check your teammates to see if anyone wants a ride...and you should never take someone else's car without asking.

If my car is unlocked to passengers, it means you can get in the driver's seat too, and I'd prefer to keep my personal vehicle NOT on the bottom of the ocean or spread out in 6000 burnt out pieces along the highway thanks.

I have had a pleasant experience 97% of the time, only once did someone drive off in my car without me. I kicked them out and they blew it up. I got in a npc car and this dick drove in front of me. So I stopped, he stopped. The other players finished the mission and I got paid the most - another topic but I don't get how payouts work, I didn't do anything but I get paid the most?
